2way or 3 way ? my 970 is doing 3740 at 4k so just curious ....

though the 970 is still crashing in RealBench ocassionally, just dropped the NV 368.81 driver now along with the Luxmark test , still trying to figure out if it is the 970 or my OC on the 5820K actually causing this , or a combo of the two.

2xSLI

Real bench should be charged with "unnecessary roughness" lol

I was under the (wrong) impression that the "Prefer Max Performance" setting puts it at max V/Pwr even at idle ( as in the card doesen't throttle down). On my laptop, that's what it does.
I just checked and it doesn't - on my desktop. Weird

Anyway, as far as the NV Control Panel, anyone experience this--> My settings for VSync and G-Sync aren't remembered on restart? As in , I have to re-set them over every time I restart.

Please take it for a Whirl and let me know what you think. Sometimes it is the Benchmark that crashes (Luxmark OpenCL test) or says "unstable" and stops ,other times the Stress Test.

But I need more time to play with my OC , it maybe a Cache Error under load or something like that. The 970 is not OC except for the new Bios.

This simply prevents your GPU from going BELOW the "default core speed" of the GPU. Adaptive can go all the way to 135Mhz. It's not really a heat issue, it's a power thing.

I will give it a try. I've had the same test fail but EVERYTHING else passes so IDK, I think the test is too hardcore and not representative of any "REAL" workload (why call it real bench... UGH!)

To me it's furmark revised wink.gif

About 4K higher in score than a 1080 drunken.gif

Quadro P6000's are full GP102 (3840 vs 3584)

1080Ti = GP102
the question is, full die or 28/30?

I originally downloaded as it was mentioned on the ROG Forums when I was having alot of issues with X99 and stability and it was a one download test Suite , which I figured was good enough for my level of OCing . I usually try IPDT tool 1st , is that's ok, do a stress test in XTU , not that great either, but if it can't pass them both , there is no point running RealBench.

I'm not a Benchmark person to be honest , so RealBench was a "lazy download" for me , couple of clicks and the test runs , if thats ok , good enough for me I am not trying to post World OCing Records smile.gif

I didn't realise till I saw your score above, that the 980's were that much faster than the 970 .....
