Too much inconsistency of reports in that thread...

I trust this community and will would watch for a thread here... if they built it, they will come here smile.gif

If the green team resorts to this then it will drive many people away...

Red team isn't so bad these days... just sayin...

Looks like Gigabyte G1 980Ti's are still holding at apprx $375 USD... not bad but thought prices would have dropped a bit more. Just goes to show you what the public thinks about Maxwell (it's still very much relevant).

Anyone that already has a 980Ti, adding a 2nd in SLI isn't a bad idea.. It will handle 4K no problem. wink.gif Much cheaper than buying a 1080Ti anyway...

SLI support is absent is some titles but overall I've never really had any issues with modern games except the latest Wallenstein wouldn't run in SLI no matter what.

I wanted to do this, but R&R'ing my PSU just didn't work for me. I also only have a 5820 so I'm limited in the number of PCIe lanes I can dedicate to SLI.

No problems here, I got the latest nVidia drivers and the new Windows 10 fall update, works great for me.

Do 980Ti's see any perf. increase in Windows 10 with DX12 games?

I haven't been following DX12 (since it wasn't anything to get excited about) but I remember hearing some tests were actually slower vs DX11...

I'm sort of looking forward to more Vulkan stuff... they've been quiet..

So either 2018 has some surprises for us (Could be with both DX12 and Vulkan... if it was just a matter of coding optimizations that needed time to catch up...) or it's another pair of duds in GPU history...

I'd love to see if anyone has heard of anything more positive in the last 6+ months.. maybe I just missed it?

New drivers can't be used with my modded bios, seems any of them with the P0,P02 states tweaked results in Error 43.

If I remove the tweak to that section I lose the ability to up my voltage past 1230mV but the driver works.
