Best mouse for MOBAs? - Page 3

I'd still recommend the G502, I've found it really comfortable but it did require a hard-pad (G440 and now 9HD as the G440 got too scratched up and lost the slickness in the middle) and also aftermarket replacement feets, Hotline Games or Tiger Gaming ones. With that combination it's really smooth and slick, on soft-pad with the stock feet the mouse did feel to drag along a lot which makes the heavy weight also problematic.

So my recommendation goes with G502 on a Hardpad, also my hands practically the same size as yours (18cm/9cm) and I use Claw/Finger grip.

Idk man, the G502 seems like such a clunky monster and I really don't dig the 5 million buttons it has, I'd never use them. I feel the G303 would be a better choice if I want a Logitech mouse.

It does seem clunky but I don't find it like that at all thou it does have bazillion buttons, I actually use the "sniper button" as Ctrl+X and the ones on the left click I use as Copy/Paste, the usual forward/backwards ones for the thumbs are the same as in any other mouse.

The only game I really need the extra ones (for now) is in Elite:Dangerous to control the power pips between system/engine/weapons

The G303 would be the simpler option if it fits your grip. Also I'll repeat that the G502 has way too much friction on a softpad so I'd consider a hard one a must due to it's weight.

If you like having side buttons to keybind abilities to for a MOBA, I would suggest the Razer Naga Hex or something similar. You shouldn't need any more than 6 keybind-able mouse buttons IMO.

I don't really. I'd never use the buttons on the Naga Hex

I find the g302 to be light for its size to me. I prefer the g100 which has additional buttons for some macros.

I'm waiting for the ROG Sica. I just got a reply from Asus USA's facebook account saying it is going to be released very soon (but didn't give exact date).
I'll keep you updated. I noticed that you're the same guy from the ROG Sica thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1542757/rog-sica/160

Man, picking a mouse is going way over my head atm. The sica is coming soon, the x5 is a solid mouse and the g303 is supposed to be amazing if the shape works for you. So many choices...

I am currently using the X5 right now and I enjoy it a lot. My only complaint with it is the glossy top but that's just a personal thing. It is really light and the sensor feels really good.

I am gonna check out the sica once it comes out only because I enjoy smaller mice. It's shape looks pretty good and it's gonna be light. Also has the 3310 so I am curious to see what it will feel like. I think the Sica could be really good based on it's size, shape and weight. Seems perfect for mobas. Asus please release the mouse already smile.gif
