So this past weekend, fired up everything on a test bench to make sure it was all working. Got to the BIOS on the board and saw it was outdated. Updated the BIOS and the system started crashing in BIOS. Checking the LED Panel on the mobo and was seeing RAM errors popping up. Ran a memtest and found that I had a bad stick of RAM. I have started the RMA process with GSKILL.

More pics to come after I clean them up in lightroom

I also purchased my QuakeCon ticket yesterday! I will be in seat B11-2. Looking forward to seeing the case in-person.

So got some pictures of all the hardware, still waiting for GSKILL to get back with me about the RAM.

These pictures were taken with a Nikon D3100 where as the case pictures were taken with a Canon T2I. I am currently waiting for the Canon T6I to come out so please pardon the Nikon pictures. The screen on the camera is terrible so it is very hard to tell the quality of the pictures.

Sorry for the delay in updates been pretty busy with work lately and haven't been home. I finally got my replacement RAM from GSkill. Memtested the kit and no issues. So time to move on.
Made a little guide showing how to disassemble and prep to put EK Heatspreaders on.

First step is to remove the screws and slide off the fin.

You're going to need a small flathead screwdriver and a heat gun for this. Also a pair of pliers. Also gloves or a towel.

Put the stick of ram in between the and hold over the heatgun. I had mine set on high and passed it back and fourth for about 25 seconds.

Take your screwdriver and start prying to get the stock spreaders off. After being heated it should easily come off. If you are having trouble, heat it up some more and pry again.

Backside is off.

Frontside is off. The front side should come off relatively easy and shouldn't require any heat. There is no tape holding it to the memory modules.

Now to reassemble using the EK heatspreaders you are going to have to get the piece of tape that was on the backside. The reason being is that EK heatspreaders were made for RAM modules that have chips on the front and backside. GSKILL modules only have them on the front. Without the piece of tape when you put it in the EK heatspreader there is too much room and it wont close properly.

To get the piece of filler tape off use the pair of pliers to hold just the backside piece and pass back and fourth over the heatgun. You can then use the screw driver to separate it from the piece of metal. It should come off all in piece very easily. Once the tape is off, put it on the EK heatspreader back and then just follow the instruction from EK to reassemble.

Very simple to do and should take about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete a full kit of 4 sticks.

So this weekend I got the pump mounted and some of the tubing done. Still waiting on GPU blocks

. I am using the Bitspower PETG Tubing and it is very easy to work with. I used EK acrylic before and man that was just a nightmare.

Just took some quick photos with the cell phone so please excuse the quality. I ordered my Canon T6s but have not received it yet. You can be certain though that the final photos will be shot with that.

Your build is coming along nicely!

I am spending the weekend sleeving my cables. Slow and tedious, but rewarding in the end.
Thanks, I just sleeved the pump cables today. I am waiting on my hybrid cables. My friend is reducing the size of the stock cables for me and then I'll finish up the extensions myself.

You cant see it from the angle of the pics I took but I saw that before and routed them like that too.

I also noticed that I am going to have to fix the tubing on the piece coming down in this pic. It's pulling the horizontal run up
