Laying Midtower on its Side

Thread Starter
So I'm new here, my first build so please be patient with me.

My space is a little cramped and I realized that I can maximize storage in my office by laying my PC case on its side with the motherboard facing up.

Specs: Corsair 350D, EVGA GTX 970, 3TB WD Green, Seasonic X 650, I770.

Is it OK to do this? Specifically concerned about the HD which is now positioned vertically as well as the PSU. which is now on its side. No optical drive so that's not a concern.

It will be fine like that. Unless you had a water cooling loop to consider but you dont mention that.

HD are sideways anyway in some builds, its no problem at all.
