Product info and discussion - VARDAR radiator fans - Page 43

This entire fan issue has had me going crazy but I finally have som good news. There is nothing wrong with my fans!
I've been testing and testing all night last night and today and you know what? It isn't the fan itself. It is MY CASE that is enhancing the tiny (normal) vibrations from the fans.

Any update on the 140's? I'm holding out for them, but I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Absolutely in love with 120mm ER Vardars on first use, sound is impeccable and they do create quite a draft.

any news on the 140mm replacements, the sound is getting rather annoying

Agreed, excellent for those who want quiet fans but can ramp up!

Looking for the same information. I was told it would be 1-2 weeks and that was 2 weeks ago. I need them for my build.

i always thought it was going to be about 2-3 months but i was just after a little update.

I absolutely love the vardar's and have been recommending them to everyone that has been looking for new ones. They are very quiet and very powerful as well as looking amazing.

I thought so to until they posted this: http://www.overclock.net/t/1566104/ek-coolstream-ce-a-successor-to-xtc-is-here/40#post_24378762

I was looking what to buy instead of the Vardars and they told me to wait because it would only be 1-2 weeks.

Just to report that I've discovered my vardar fans are scraping the radiator frame (AIO asetek). I mounted the fan as pull config.

I opened the rad to clean and assembled back, scrape noise heard when fan is spinning.

I doubt its scraping. Its just the deadspot from the large motor hub.
