There is a reason I chose Crysis 3, BF4, and Theif (Supposed to be optimized for AMD and 980 kicks it's tail)

Anywho... Back on topic. Who is buying this beast of a card, Titan X?

Anywho... Back on topic. Who is buying this beast of a card, Titan X?

So what if they're optimized for AMD? Shadow of Mordor and Far Cry 4 are optimized for Nvidia, yet the 290x has higher fps..
The people that aren't getting one or whining about the price why don't you instead of preaching, Tweet your unwillingness to pay that much for a GPU directly to Nvidia instead of preaching that it's overpriced to the people that can and will be getting one (or two biggrin.gif )

lol ok

And on-topic, ~5% gain over 980 is a joke. Buy 2x970s / 980s for same cost and you've have much, much more FPS/$

Stupidly expensive, but then premium products always are.

Whilst the Titan X has good performance, the sweet spot still seems to be dual SLI for minimum 60fps at 4K. (still not there for 144fps)

If I had the money, two would be on order now; but I don't so good luck to those that can and I hope they put a smile on your face.

It will be very interesting to see what AMD can come up with on the 380/390's.

No double perc. and barely any increase over small-Maxwell really makes me wonder if this is even allowed to be called a premium product.
At least the original Titan was much better and had compute performance to back it... this.... this doesn't....

IMO it's a scared-tactic by Nvidia to try soak up some more high-end market share before the 390X drops.
