4RTEX - FPS-CASE1

Quote by 4RTEX
mITX scratch case designed by myself, made from 5221 H22 aluminium and 304 stainless steel. It packs 780ti Kinping graphics and AX760i ATX power supply. Current setup holds 4 Noctua Redux PWM fans plus 1 Noctua Industrial 2000RPM fan mounted on the side to cool H80i. There is also space for 2 2.5" drives. I'm running 1 SSD - Samsung 850 pro at the moment. Other stuff inside:
- i7 4790K
- MSI Z97i Gaming AC
- 2 x 4 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 MHz
DrvonBruchen - The Glowing Panda

Quote by DrvonBruchen
As a 16 year old 6th form student in England this is my first case mod and water cooling build, mainly because it has taken 3 years to acquire the appropriate funds. Anyway my work includes cutting a new window, painting the graphics card and ram. I also spent about 12 hours getting the cables sleeved, I think that they did come out very well though. Along with this I made a cover for the drive. Thanks for reading and vote for me!

Lyxchoklad - S340 CLUB build

Quote by Lyxchoklad
I am a lover of interior design from the visuals of minimal design to the colors, floral arrangements, lighting and materials used throughout ones home. I wanted to express that love through my first mod of a pc chassis. I hope I succeeded.
The only daunting task I found in modding a small case was finding balance. One answer to this problem was using a Dimastech 280mm rad shroud to lift the fans closer to the motherboard. Others include using the chassis feet from my old midi and repainting gpu logo and chassis components.
Wiz766 - Jinora v2.0

Quote by Wiz766
Here is Jinora, my elegant little beast. The short and sweet is that she is powerful when needed yet quiet when being inactive with all fans able to shut off. Trying to maintain a calm over-all color scheme with a little eye candy to pop. Theory behind this was I wanted something to house enough power as a daily driver but also small enought to take to a LAN.
SU11YBEAR - Project Booboo

Quote by SU11YBEAR
PROJECT BOOBOO

Goal of the build is a high-powered LAN rig so have the basics

-Intel 5930k Evga X99 Micro and Evga 980 Super Clocked

-Water-cooling via rigid acrylic tubing

-EK CPU and GPU with custom block for the VRegs

-Cable-sleeving for computer and for the fun parts
But needed some more fun,

-Fully controllable and RGB lighting and fans

-Arduino controllor to run them (and of course for blog cred)

-Custom Front Panel, sticker/lights and military toggle switches

-And to top it off soviet era tube amp for headphones (tied into front panel audio)
Furious Pcs - Project White Hawk

Quote by Furious Pcs
White Hawk as it sits with its acrylic IO, Hard drive cover both revised twice, its Mid-plate cover, and Painted 120 EK Pe Rad. Also, with 3 different types of tubing and fittings, was not easy to pull off. The planning was especially hard, space was the biggest issue. Mounting the ssd under the stealth MB tray not an option with cables and tubing in the way, so on the PSU was the way to go. Custom Cables bought from Ensourced was the best for cable management in general. The build started rough with no money, big plans, to space, to many changes in the build. I Hope you can enjoy the struggle and hard work that I've put into this Build as much as I've enjoyed it.
GrimDoctor - GoldenEye

Quote by GrimDoctor
Goldeneye can be summed up in 4 words: simplicity, reliability, elegance and detail. It's all in the details whether it be form or function, function the number one priority. Air cooling can be underrated these days with the popularity of water cooling so this build was aimed to showcase the power of a well thought out plan. From custom paint to custom decals to custom SSD mounts and some tiring cable management, I hope you enjoy Goldeneye as much as I've enjoyed building it

emsj86 - Blue Blurry

Quote by emsj86
"Blue Blurry" Was my first ever water cool build and only my second build ever. I m still new to pc in general, as I ve been into pc building/gaming for a year now and love it. My build was built for performance, but also to show with a 89.00 usd case you can build something great. As a build is never finished I still have more plans for the build as I learn. A few mods Ive done is modding the drive cages to mount the reservior, polished all acrylic, paint the gpu block and backplate engraving, along with a few other mods. The acrylic panels our still in the works but hope you enjoy and would like to get some feedback on my build log linked below. thank you
090517 - Carbon Rose

  • 100% water cooled with Carbor Fiber hard tubing.
  • In Win S frame with two GTX 980 SLI and an I7 4790k
  • Z97 Formula VII motherboard with M.2 drive and integrated waterblock.
  • Has decent wifi reception.

DarthBaggins - R.C70 we're live!

Quote by DarthBaggins
The build is now in it's 3rd phase after initially being an All black C70 I picked up from a local retailer. As time progressed so did my want to mod it to my liking, so first came the painting of the panels which I would have thought would appease me enough but no. Next while I had the CPU and Mobo off at RMA I decided to strip the case down and paint the mobo tray and while I was doing that I thought that it would look good as a Reverse ATX case, which I hadn't seen anyone else do (turns out I was the first to pull this off). After multiple hours of cutting, grunting and much cursing I got to the phase you see now (in previous PM's)

This rig is a dedicated folding, photo, and gaming rig, which more than likely this will be its final form for a few months to years as I have another monster to wrestle with (a CaseLabs M8) which I'm in the air on if I'm going to break out the paints and go to town on some parts of that one as well)

Machiyariko - Project BWR

Quote by Machiyariko
BWR is the build that I have always wanted to do. In the past 12 years I have built over 3000 computers, 20 of those being for my personal use. I go back and forth between air and water cooled builds in a tick tock manner and this will likely be my final tock for quite a few years. My swan song if you will. The customization in this build is subtle and seemingly very small but that is the point. Nothing jumps out and shouts at you, it's all clean and efficient design wrapped up inside of a wonderful Case Labs case. I raised and reversed the top radiator mount to accommodate the 280 and 360 radiators (normally not possible with this case). This also opened up the top window sight line with the customized black and white FrozenQ reservoir. Custom cable covers and small touches of red accent the overall design and help hold this build to it's namesake.
Black. White. Red.
Thank You.
Gadarn - Gadarn's Desk PC

Quote:
I've always liked having a PC that was just a little bit ahead of the curve - a little more involved than the average user. When it was coming time to replace my last PC, I started to think about how the next one might continue that quest to be outside the norm. I thought about a wall-mounted rig - Show4Pro's MAXXPlanck V2 blew me away - but I eventually decided on a desk PC with a similar mounting style.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's nearly silent, while staying nice and cool; the black and white color scheme really stands out; and the desk is perfectly functional while being a great conversation piece.

Plus, it has already got me thinking about how I can do better next time.
Lukas026 - GaMeBoX

My RIG I posted is one of these air cooled beasts which offers great performance in relatively low noise. I tried to keep things clean and simple. I know I could use some better looking fans, but since I am a BIG Noctua fan, I have to use them
smile.gif
All in all, this is my first build I am posting to this kind of competition and I am hoiping that second build will be truly a MOD with more profeesional things like full custom WC loop etc.
cennis - FT03-mini mod

Quote:
This is my second water-cooled build with the focus of top-tier performance/cooling in a compact case. This machine is used mainly for benching, schoolwork and gaming. Hardware include 4770k overclocked to 4.7ghz and 295x2 overclocked to 1200mhz in a modded FT03-mini. Cooling is provided by 2x 120mm radiators, and a dual 180mm radiator. The highlight of the build is the water cooling loop. The emphasis is placed on using fittings and adapters instead of tubing to connect in tight spaces while maintaining nice lines. Total tubing used was probably less than 10 inches. Total fittings used was around 40. Had a great experience modding this.
The End! Please place your votes wisely and take your time to read through the build logs before placing your votes. Thanks for reading

Hello

I am posting some pictures of my PC which I built last month.

Components used are same as in my RIG in my SIG except for SSD and Motherboard - I changed them last week and don't have updated shots yet.

I know there is much things to improve but I though I will share it with you anyway

Here they are:

Guess I could nominate & upload the photos of my R.ATX C70
thumb.gif

I'll break out the real camera and get a few better shots as well, Almost forgot I modded my Corsair Vengeance C70 from standard ATX to a Reverse ATX Case and with a custom loop
thumb.gif
Supposedly the first C70 to have this mod done as well

I'd like to nominate @4RTEX's build FPS-CASE1. It's an amazing small build that fixes a large number of gripes I had with the EVGA Hadron. Beautiful build in a reasonably sized custom case.

I 2nd this nomination! One thing to note that may not be clear in timer's post is that this is a true build from the bottom up. 4RTEX based it off the Hadron but improved on the design and built this machine literally from scratch to address issues that he (and others) have had with EVGA's case. Big props!

While I think it's professional-class work, this was his first time doing case work and hence, I nominated him for amateur class.
