[BL] First build - Page 3

Just wanted to give my 2 cents. Build is awesome! Great job fitting everything in there. Hopefully it's nice and quiet too.

Not exactly sure what the problem was. All the connectors were inserted all the way. Once I changed boot priority to the SSD, it is working fine. It's been running two hours now no issues while I was playing games. Now I need to stress test the GPU and CPU to see where my temps even out at. Currently, everything is running stock so I don't expect anything outrageous.

With this being my first watercooled build, I'm looking for some insight from those more experienced than myself. I have been running some short stress tests just to get an idea of where the temps are at while stock. When I did the unigen valley benchmark, I saw a max of 40 degrees on the GPU. i was running AIDA64 in the background and during that same time my processor hit a max temp of roughly 65 degrees. This is a bit opposite from what i had expected. Personally i figured the temps would be within a few degrees of each other or at the very least the GPU would be warmer than the CPU. Any of you have any thoughts on this?

Yes that is normal. The Gpu will not put out nearly as much heat as the processor.

Also your temps will depend on the ambient (Room Temp) of the house.

Example of my Cpu

Processor ( Overclocked to 4.5Ghz using 1.275Core V) and EVGA 780.

Running Realbench 2.2 for 15min

Processor Temps 78C
GPU Temps 42C.

TCO

Thanks for the complements smile.gif It took quite a bit longer than expected, but I'm happy it's all working. I will be revisiting the hard lines; most likely once the semester is over and I have a little more free time. I also need to get my camera charged up so I can take some good pictures of it for this thread.

I do need to find some 90 degree fittings that will match the fittings already in there as good as possible.
