Nope. Scratch it all! It was all a lie. My computer lied to me and it just managed to spit out better results then some of my older results. mad.gif

40 fps average? Riiight.

On my unlocked (3840) fury overclocked to fury x core clock I get same results. I'm saying this to stress out that in games surprisingly it's not locked units that cause fury to be slower than fury x but core clock

PS Wanna rape ur gpu? Go to the white orchard, Ford. And into the forest. or to Kaer Morhen forests.

There is a reason I am using 2 or 3 GPUs while 4K gaming....as of yet there isn't any single GPU capable of running every game maxed out at 4K.

So you said 25fps he said 40fps on avg. Then you link a video of 30-35fps.... did anyone win this yet?
I said 25-35 fps so I reckon I won.biggrin.gif Besides this video doesn't feature the most gpu intensive scenes but even without them I saw fps dropping to 27-29 sometimes

I said nearly 40fps. I was going based on the list @littlestereo posted here:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1547314/official-amd-r9-radeon-fury-nano-x-x2-fiji-owners-club/4730#post_24521797

As I said previously I have yet to run my benchmarks. I'll probably get around to it later. Based of t he links that @littlestereo provided it appears that the Fury X does beat the 980 Ti @ 4K and average nearly 40fps in the benchmarks. What more is there to say? It's not a win lose situation for me.

As I said before the links he posted shows the Fury X pushing well over what you claimed.

So Sapphire advised that I switch the vBIOS switch to the other position. (In this case, from Left to Right as you face the big glowing Radeon) still got the "This VGA Card is not UEFI Compatible) message. What's funny is that when you submit a support ticket, they even call the card the R9 Fury X (UEFI). It's crazy.
I just stupidly flashed over both BIOS on my Sapphire Fury X. I made backups with GPU-Z, but I didn't know they weren't full backups. Now all I get when I try to boot with my Fury is a black screen.

Would anyone with a Sapphire Fury X (SKU#: 21246-00) be generous enough to take a full backup of their vBIOS with atiflash and upload it somewhere for me? Any other model would work as well. At this point it can't hurt.

I chose the Fury X for two reasons: Small Size(nano wasn't out yet when I purchased hardware) which is necessary if I want my res well....where I want it in the case I am using. The second is I was looking for a solid single GPU to drive 2560 x 1440 for the next couple years. It does both quite well and while a single 980Ti would have done the trick as well .....Nvidia got my money the last two go rounds and I loved my 6970 so I decided time to spread some love back to AMD. I feel they earned it being first out with HBM. biggrin.gif

Still deciding on a monitor and would love some suggestions. I have been waiting on Eizo Foris FreeSync but still no word on price or availability.

Don't worry, no need to justify your reasons. Hell if you said it was because you wanted too, it is a free world. I am about to be the poster child of stupidity as i have 2 more fury x's coming. I had always planned on 3 but i want to see how 4 will perform. I am using primarily 6400x3600 resolution but until they get here i am testing various eyefinity setups and resolutions. In the end i probably will only use 3 and send the fourth on back.
