I think I couldn't get a measurement above 80C with 1.3V core voltage

That's soke good cooling then. What's stock voltage? 1.2~?

I didn't check at stock voltage because at stock the VRM isn't at any risk.

As an aside, did you ascertain how accurate the VRM sensors were in determining the hottest area of the board? Or, in other words, was the value given by the VRM pretty close to the hottest value you determined using the probe?

There are no VRM sensor built into the card. At least there aren't any that GPU-z is picking up.

Okay so.... I can't even get into the BIOS with this card...

I literally get the Asus POST screen logo, and it immediately loses signal.

I can't go into BIOS, Safemode, nothing... this is so weird, cause obviously the card is functioning enough to get the post screen......

The mobo is not flashing the GPU light either, which would normally signify a bad card, or that it is not communicating with the card.

This is going to drive me nuts mad.gif

Have you updated your motherboard BIOS?
