I hate it because it is unecessary bloatware and since release of it I have also had to fix numerous driver corruption issues for almost all of my gamer friends due to the auto driver update via the GFE. It's touted as this great tool for those new to graphics settings but ends up being a pain. It also presets some terrible settings for games.

I hope that the new Radeon software is not similar.

My best 290X score is 14.8k. So 15.8k isn't bad by any stretch...

I was talking about my dual 290's. I wish I still had my results from my 7970's. Since those are similar to a Fury.

* Does the XFX Fury have a Dual Bios Switch?

Unwinder is currently working on Afterburner to include voltage control for Fiji and the MSI Lightning 980 Ti. He didn't have a Fiji card to do the work before but one finally made its way through Russia to him. I have no idea what is the hold up with W1zzard's Trixx software.

Sapphire is terrible at pushing Trixx updates. It took them like 4 or 5 months to add voltage control for the Vapor-X HD 7970 and 7950. I still have a Beta version of Trixx that never launched official and as far as I know it's the only version with support for the Vapor-X cards.

Trixx 5.0.0 is a buggy broken mess ATM. It works enough for me to use it but it's really really broken. 4.8.9 caused all kinds of crashes. 4.4.0(that's the Vapor-X compatible version which I have) never launched. IMO W1zz is busy trying to fix the disaster that 5.0.0 is and once everything works we'll see 5.1.0 with a working UI maybe with voltage control for Fury but I wouldn't count on it.

It's hard for me to accept the truth that there are a total of 2 (!) people in this whole world working for OC software of a flagship graphics card. Talking about niche market.....redface.gif

Hopefully once I finish my Computer Systems Engineering degree I'll know enough to be the 3rd but for now I will just churn out hard mods for anything and everything I get my hands on and find a datasheet for.

I'm so tempted to follow your instruction and try that hardware mod...but I've never done anything like that before...

Question: why do you need a variable resistor? Am I supposed to adjust it every time I oc? Can I just use one fixed value resistor to get a fixed voltage? Like, I just want to fix it at 1.4V core/1.6V HBM, what should I do?
