Im asking the same thing about a Lightning version. Do we know anything about that? Or are we going to get a 390x Lightning? I saw the 980Ti version just came out.

Also, do you think they will release a naked version or card only? Because Im thinking its a waste to pay for the pump, stock block, rad, the fan, etc. Im tearing all that stuff off when I get it

But my main question (and concern), bc you'll prob know this, do you know anyone running the Fury X on the Crosshair V Formula Z mobo? I want to try and figure out if they have experienced any problems. I wanted to build an i7 next year so Im wondering if I should wait to get Fury's until Im ready to build that rig.

* Thats a 380X @ $259, it supposed to compete with the gtx 960 ti possibly.

* So it seems that the current Fjiji Cards can be overclocked without much voltage needed?

* So you've OC to 1140MHZ / 570MHZ on a Fury? What are the temps?

That would help possibly with Nvidia Games that might need to squirt some extra juice to get better texture frame rates if that makes sense.

* I will definatly consider OC some games that would need it.

* Has anyone heard when the New Catalyst (Crimson) software will be released ~ Supposed soon on Nov 24.

I like the idea of a better user interface, but more importantly, the idea that AMD will now support NEW game releases before they come to Market with proper drivers.

He might be using a Fury X, that would make more sense. That would be one hell of a Fury if it can go 1140/570 without a volt mod. I can get 1080/550 at most from my Sapphire R9 Fury OC.

I can confirm with furyX that CF reduces overclocks and stability previously not an issue. Not sure if its just simple logic that each gpu clocks less(differently). I guess i should take some time and test each one by itself.

So I hooked up wires to the voltage measuring points....easier job for practice...

Glad I didn't destroy it, but now I'm only measuring 1.16 v core and 1.25 v HBM when running Valley and Heaven. Is my multimeter off or I'm missing some steps here?confused.gif

Looks like your DMM is of by 0.05V. Try replace it's battery.

Bit of a noob with thia kind of stuff. I have an analog voltmeter with two probes, if I wanted to read the voltage of my card (290X VaporX) how would I go about doing so?

I never said I am using a Fury without the X. I am using two Fury Xs with Aqua Computer water blocks. I have already posted the pictures in this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1547314/official-amd-r9-radeon-fury-nano-x-x2-fiji-owners-club/3000_100#post_24214780 (By the way, these pictures are not new enough, I have already exchanged the RAM with 4x4GB 2133MHz CL8)

So question.... is the Fury pro using a lower vcore than the Fury X, and if so, is that a result of BIOS differences, or hardware differences?

I just don't understand how the Fury X OC results are so much higher than the Fury Pro's..... I can't see them putting that much work into binning, and the temps on my Fury are maxing at around 60-64C at max load for an hour, so there's not a drastic temp difference to explain it either.

Anyone tested actual load voltage on each card to verify??

I am getting 1.168 vcore under load during 4k gaming, which is SO low (mind you, this is at 1060 core clock)..... Is there any power differences in the first and second BIOS?

I have the Sapphire BIOS flashed on switch one, and the stock XFX BIOS left in place on switch two (away from d-ports).
