Thats an awesome overclock on your Fury X. Wow at 1200MHz that Fury X must be a beast.

Can anyone else confirm this? I've not yet had a reason to move from 15.11.1 but a working crossfire profile for fallout 4 would certainly give me one... sick of playing at 1440p with another Fury X in reserve... I've seen a lot of people on various forums confirming unplayable texture and flickering issues, but mostly with older cards. If it genuinely doesn't work then why on earth did they release it? Possibly they only tested it on pre v1.3 versions of fallout 4? Anyone know how to revert an upgrade to test it?

Yes, and I've still got more room to go with the Fury X as the cooling is superior. I think that the only reason the Fury did so well at those particular voltage levels is that according to cuinfo my air-cooled Fury was cu locked for binning purposes rather than for defects.

As I push voltage higher the Fury X takes charge.

As someone who's particularly fresh to overclocking, do we have any reference material to read over to get started?

Just up the clock until it crash then back down, no magic and 99%of the time it won't hurt your card.

What do you guys use for power limit on afterburner?

Does it really make any difference?

On the Nano here. I just set it to +50% power target. It does seem to make a difference. With the normal settings I can push about 1105 Mhz or so stable and benchmarked. With it at +50% I can push to a notch just under 1150 which for the Nano is fairly decent (benchmark stable)

Sorry for the dick answer but unless you want to support the better company and/or the more future proof product, the 980ti is the better card by quite a bit for games. That is for DirectX 11, however for DirectX 12 they may tie (1500MHz vs 1200MHz overclock for Nvidia and AMD) or the Fury X may even be a little better. At the moment, and probably for at least a year, AMD graphic cards just have a worse performance in games. There are just too many AAA games still in production and popular that do not use DirectX 12/Vulkan/Mantle.
