At the moment, and probably for at least a year, AMD graphic cards just have a worse performance in games. There are just too many AAA games still in production and popular that do not use DirectX 12/Vulkan/Mantle.
Yeah, don't say things like that in the Owners Club and to a guy that is excited about his purchase. That's just poor taste.

Now what you do is turn the super virtual resolution on and set your games at 2550X1440 enjoy the magic . The 16.1.1 B drivers seem to fix a lot ( especially if your into BLOPS 3 or Rise of the Tomb Raider) thumb.gif

And the performance on the Fury X IS NOT as bad as some would have you believe. I have been playing everything I want at 4k with one Fury X and a 4770k and have not had to sacrifice settings. Those games include Battle Field 4, Diablo 3, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battle Front, War Thunder, heavily modded Skyrim, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Drivers ARE getting better with every update. The Fury series did have a rough start but it is not a terrible card. I can say that all of my AMD cards have had a long life and continued support for a very long time with continued improvements.

I've had my fury for a while now, but just now joining the club. Also have a nano that I picked up on the cheap to replace my fury but I decided to use it for another project. Maybe I will pick up another fury for some xfire goodness in the future.

I understand where you coming from but i have never had any issues with my amds cards, most of game i play favour amd cards anyway. but like said nvidia schemes is massive turn off for me. other than that the 980ti is fantastic card. just not for me thumb.gif

My Fury is really doing well in bf4, everything ultra at 2560x1440.

I have some clock issues, but fixed with Clockblocker. I will install the newer drivers tonight as apparently they fix it.

Well, I said it was actually a "dick answer" and I also am using two Fury Xs myself. What I just wanted to get across is that if you look at just the performance the 980ti is quite a bit better than the Fury X, especially when overcklocked (because it overclocks to at least 1500MHz).

Yes, it may not do bad in games generally, but its performance is quite a bit worse than the 980ti's.

I don't see how that matters, because I doubt anyone posts and hopes to receive a dick answer.
