My XFX Fury also manages 1050 with -50mv offset (Stock at 1000MHZ).

Thank you, I will try that.

While searching for Nano undervolting, I came across another fan mod for the Nano lol:

Might not be suitable for SFF, because it splashes heat everywhere, but might try to move one of my my gentle typhoons to the Nano lol

LOL .. i was a little bit Green with envy at the CFX support for Warhammer already a driver or two back from AMD.. still waiting on a decent profile from NV .

I'm liking the direction Raja is steering the ship in.

It hasn't been a seamless transition from CCC but Raja and RTG have pretty much been on point. I'm much happier with the general user experience than I was a year ago.

That was impressive with what looks like immature drivers too.

What is rumored to be impressive is they might have done this at lower wattage also. Eg total power of the two 480s was (rumored to be) less than the 1080 whilst doing this - that's something I'm looking forward to seeing proven or not in the future.

Raja did point to +Efficiency win in the Benchmark and some think that means power drawn was less than the 1080. It could just mean it had untapped reserves (mainly in the single batch it seams or light loading).

Its also one game so there is a lot to be proven yet with RX480 CFX - certainly at the price CFX could be a competitor to custom 1070s AIB models (they could be over $400 usd) , i think just as long as AAA titles continue to get CFX support in a timely manor then doubling up remains a good option. Especially if power and price are not also problematic.

Nobody knows the numbers yet but say a 1070 gains 30-40% over a RX480 .. well CFX 480s actually will pull ahead of that in most CFX supported titles as that would be considered very poor scaling.

There are quite a few options ... Looking forward to the reviews.

Before we declare 480 beating 1080 lets wait for actual real world non affiliated reviews and both cards in hands of customers smile.gif Also I am very skeptical of the CFX performance as being hyped to be with 480. It does sound interesting but we shall see.
You see this stuff all the time. Fury X is the titan killer . 1080 is the best of the best . Then you get to test the cards yourself and find out how far off base the hype really is. Been happening since I have been buying cards.
