My frame rates are great. I totally changed my fans on my rig. Added two in the front. Added a littler fan I had lying around under my nano bringing in extra air from the four pcie expansion slots. I also fixed my exhaust as I had it going wrong way. Also changed my top from exhaust to intake. Lastly I went into my bios and cranked all fans to max. Noisey but it doesn't bother me.

Great. The exhaust acting as a intake would explain the high temperatures. The top fans blowing on the back of the card might help cool the card as well. thumb.gif

Now that I have these temps under control what settings do I need to use to keep my gpu at 1000mhz or higher while gaming?

!/ Are you using any overclocking software other than the Radeon Settings Overdrive.

2/ Try raising the Power Limit to 20-30% and keep an eye on temperatures and GPU Frequency while gaming.

This is a nice distraction from keeping an eye out for tornados in my area.wheee.gif.

I am using cam for my nzxt hue + it has software to overclock gpu, but my Radeon software runs in the background too would I set both of them to 20%? I used msi afterburner in the past with my msi cards I could download that if it's better.

Use only one piece of software for settings. It can cause conflicts otherwise. Try cam to see if it works. If not try MSI Afterburner or Sapphire Trixx..
