try under volting instead and see if it helps.

Good results on 3DM FS smile.gif. Cheers for ROM, the last Nitro ROM I looked at they have a small voltage offset already in ROM. On mobile at present but will check your ROM later.

To see if you have an offset now, whilst on stock ROM/no OC check your idle voltage, are you at 0.900V?

In Fiji bios mod OP is section showing how to use AiDA64 to gain VID per DPM, can you run this and attach results txt to post? I suspect you have low DPM 7 VID which is allowing you to add more before you hit negative performance scaling with voltage increase.

Also use MSI AB to gain i2cdump if you don't mind, again info in bios mod thread OP.

Cheers.

I'll do all that as soon as I get off work, from what I saw at +100mv my card is at 1.35v under light load and has some vdroop under heavier load. This is just what I saw running FS last night logging voltage.

Thx, but it was failed 8-pins connector - Bitfenix Alchemy. I'll replace it. smile.gif

I was thinking the extra power draw was causing the problem, but I wasn't expecting that though.

Glad to hear you found the problem.

I knew the Vulcan update in DOOM improved FPS for AMD cards, BUT.....
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

...... 52% improvement for Fury X and 51% improvement for Nano. Cool. smile.gif

Well, it wasn't tha cable... pff. The problem persist. I'll lower the voltage ok, but I want to oc the card, and dont thing that my psu is weak. Some other suggestions ?

What are your best safe GPU settings now and what are the settings the settings that crash?
If your GPU was stable after was stable after undervolting, we can assume that it isn't lacking voltage.
I've a finished a little bit of reading. Try switching to Sapphire Trixx. A few people have had problems with crashes using afterburner after applying voltage. Sounds weird but it might be worth a shot.

That would be weird, in my experience, Trixx was the more unstable program compared to Afterburner. My display starts flickering when adjusting settings and settings wouldn't always sync across both cards when overclocking the HBM. Also, you get no monitoring in Trixx, which is it's biggest flaw. In AB, once you extend the official OC'ing limits and disable power saving mode in Radeon Settings, everything is ssmooth sailing. Voltage as well as HBM settings work perfectly across both cards. One weird thing is that it seems to pool memory in the monitoring section.
