My Fury is like 64.6% ASIC and it can do 1200 .So low ASIC doesn't necessarily mean it's bad at overclocking thumb.gif

Huge difference already as I used the monitor with my old 660 (it's bigger than the TV I have in my bedroom!). Can't wait to start tinkering with it.

The XG with the orangish base? Any good? I skipped it because that bezel doesn't match my theme but the ACER G Sync IPS was the best 144hz 1440 G Sync panel I tried of the whole lot.

Very good. thumb.gif

My ASIC is 62.4. It will clock to 1165, but runs too hot and is best a 1100.

Yes. The Acer XG270HU 27" 1ms 144HZ Freesync monitor. Watched some Dota on it with the Fury and Freesync and it was quite the pleasant viewing experience.

I checked my ASIC and it was only 55.7% frown.gif It says my card's ASIC quality is higher than 1.7% of similar GPUs in their validation database. I am also a little disappointed with the coil whine when my card is operating at 100% but my case has dampening material as well as the fact that I use headphones so it won't be much of an issue for me.

I will try to undervolt the card tomorrow when I get some time. I had do a lot to get this card going with Freesync so I am going to enjoy it the rest of the night and will tinker with it tomorrow.

That Acer looks like a nice panel, but I really like Acer's XR Predator panels....just wish that they had a variant that was a 3440x1440 144hz IPS Freesync version... instead the best they have is the 2560x1080 144hz VA Freesync XR...

Why don't you rma it? I sent mine back even though the coil whine was almost nonexistent cause what i really wanted is another gpu to try luck and see if i could unlock it biggrin.gif but no luck mad.gif. The point is you should be able to rma it tongue.gif

BTW has anyone tested their furies in heroes of the storm? My gpu load goes crazy and i can't get 100+ fps. In cs go it does the same thing, but i doesn't drop below 295 fps so it's fine, I've disabled the power saving mode so IDK what else to do frown.gif

Low ASIC card can sometimes be extremely good overclockers, but they will use more power and generate more heat, so you will need more voltage and more cooling ( as in water cooling ).

If that doesn't appeal to you, then I would RMA it for the coil whine issue, since you're nearly guaranteed to get a better sample next time around. thumb.gif

Hey guys I picked up an XFX Fury X from the XFX sale for 400$ total.

Currently running it at 1100mhz GPU 510mhz mem.
Overclocked with TRIXX, +36mv, 50% Power limit
ASIC Quality 61.6%
58~60% fan speed to keep it at 52c under 100% load.
What kind of overclocking can I expect from this card?
