Dual Graphics support relies vastly more on the Developer of the games rather than the Drivers.
Drivers can't do much if a game doesn't support and optimize their multi GPU support.

Most developers just don't care because the grand majority of gamers are running single GPUs, and the vast majority are running cards at 250$ or less.

I'm not sure. Meaning I have finally have VSR back. But I have not used my normal Nuke and Pave with DDU. I used a custom driver I found on Guru3D that allowed VSR to operate.(same driver kernel as 16.7.3).
I've used the upgrade driver path with the past 2 drivers in fear of losing the ability to use VSR. frown.gif

Please try 16.8.1 and let me know if VSR is enabled. If it doesn't work I will point you to the custom driver. I posted about this drover 2-3 weeks ago. smile.gif

I heard something about FreeSync issues with new driver and I am about to get FreeSync monitor for testing tomorrow so I will pass on this driver for now.

True but it seems some devs are getting better at xfire and sli support and worst case two HBM2 flagships one gets disabled for a game and it will still run just fine on those monsters to be.

Free-sync user here reporting in that the 16.8 drivers are bogus. 16.7.3 is a winner for now.

What is the issue with Freesync on the latest driver?

You'll have random moments where your frame-rate will go from it's smooth 144, to 60 and get stuck there for 5-10 seconds before going back to 144 again. This happens constantly just on the desktop alone. In the course of 5 minutes it'll happen 5-10 times.

I don't use Freesync so I cannot check this out. But over on Guru3D:

As an update the Redstone issue is being fixed at the moment. If anyone has any issues with Freesync the workaround would be to enable GPU scaling that is also being looked at too along with some other issues.
