Well, after too much testing in The Witcher 3, cos I think it is the best game for this purpose, the final score of my Fury X is 1100Mhz core on 1.28V. Im not happy with it, but with 45% fan on the water cooler, the temps are really good. Someone else with that kind of core, or close to it ?

I have been undervolting my Fury X lately. I'll probably get around to testing some overclock settings soon and let you know what I can get stable.

I think I am having some issues with this 3m DP cable. It is working, but some strange things happens occasionally, like slight flickers and etc. DP is loosing performance if it is long right? And HDMI is not? I could drive 3440x1440 60 Hz through HDMI 2.0.

3m is not too long and afaik it is what AMD recommends to use for freesync panels and if it works find on those it should work find on that 60hz widescreen as well. Which brand cable are you using because some are not VESA certified?...a few are marketed as such but they are not.

This one: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Certified-DisplayPort-Cable-Latches/dp/B0011ZQLYM

Only one certified I was able to find in Poland.

I am not going to use FreeSync because I don't find it useful, it is performing far worse then you can read in web, especially on 55-75 range of my LG (not expandable, setting for example 45-75 causes flickering), I also tried it on 40-75 range in other monitor and I am not impressed at all. And also I don't want to get used to 75 Hz because I won't be able to get back to 60 FPS after some time of 75 FPS usage, I already felt 60 FPS to be a bit clunky after one day of 75 FPS usage, so I reverted back to 60 Hz, because 60 FPS is already hard enough to drive on 3440x1440, not to mention many games being CPU limited and barely running at 40-50 range.

So I can use HDMI instead and return DP cable. HDMI also has some certifications or not? It is also over 2 times cheaper.

By weird flickering do you mean something like this? https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7sVtMlN65eMeWY3N2lqb3NPcmM

Ah! I have been experiencing flickering too. Maybe I'll roll back a few drivers and see if it disappears.

I think I saw something like this few times after switching to 3m cable. This is quite rare and very fast so I am usually not sure if I really saw this or not, but something is not right here, and only cable was changed recently, everything else is not changed,.

Plus I get some bugged flickering shadows, I didn't saw them on r9 270x back when I played this game (Titan Quest).

I will just order HDMI and see if it helps./

Ne01 Presents: Serious BIOS Moding is started.

My New BIOS with Timing HBM MOD from 300/500 to 400/500 Strap + Little V adjust for Stability !
V goes to 1.319v for HBM, and that HBM Strap Timing is 400MHz from Stock 300MHz !
THX to Gupsterg for Baking the BIOS for Me (then i need to HEX Edit my self)
CU's are unlocked.

Test Run was conducted in SoMordor with Ultra Textures + reshade/Sweet/HighPass All Maxed + AA & Ryse Son of ROME Maxed with AA (that one is really sensitive so good for testing for errors)
No artifacts or glitches !
So for my HBM 1.319 was enough for 400MHz/570MHz (that Timings are really fast, and i mean REALLY, no GDDR5 or X can match those HBMs)

Here my BIOS (Fury NITRO OC+ 1050/500)

https://mega.nz/#F!QAkghRJT!W4n7fr-1CPaw7-QzTi04Xg

Fury_Tmod_all -> Unlocked All CU's + Timing MOD HBM to 400MHz + V Mod HBM 1.319v + Edited for low tW (good for long run gaming 6-8h) [non-UEFI]

OC_all.HBM -> Unlocked All CU's + V Mod HBM 1.319v [non-UEFI]

NewED_all_New.V -> Normal Nitro OC BIOS with PL MOD and Unlocked CU's [UEFI]

Please just Edit this in Fiji BIOS Editor if you need more PL (All of these are Edited for long Gaming sessions)
Im Using TRIXX for settings (its strongly recomended by me to use TRIXX)

Ne01 OnnA Yours is a nitro oc too right? Can you upload your bios? biggrin.gif

@Krzych04650@iRUSH

Can you tell me if your flickering is like that of the video i uploaded? Cause it's the second fury i own and both came with this problem and it's making me want to rma it again, I can't get the fps i want in most games i play cause the gpu is too lazy to go full load for some reason no matter what i do and then this awful flickering which seems to happen only when i hit 144+ fps.
