I am running my system on a Evga X99 Classified great board and great support from Evga. Made some changes to my system put top gpu radiator on rear case fan spot and replaced H80i GT cpu cooler for H100i cooler cpu temps are cooler and mounted on the top of the case. 3 fury x's are a good upgrade from 3 R9 290x's and the case is a alot cooler now.3 Fury x's run my games at 4k. Have my Fury X's overclocked 1100 MHz clock and 525 MHz for memory no change in voltage. Trixx 6.0.0 beta is out but no control for voltage on Fury X for me. Also XFX support is good asked rep. if they have a UEFI bios for Fury x and said yes and emailed to me. My Fury x's had old legacy bios now all my fury x's have UEFI bios on all 3 cards now in 2 bios . first bios is still legacy.

Just turn off the power efficiency from Crimson control panel. The core will stay at its max. It is the same in Dark Souls III, and this "fix it", but I think that if you don't need the extra power, leave it on.

Ehh, I thought that it is turned off already because I turned it off immediately after I bought the card, but it looks like it comes back on sometimes. I need to check that frequently it seems. 10 FPS gain, which is huge gain if you are up from 45 to 55 FPS. Whoever created this option - doh.gif

You need to turn it off every time you install new drivers.

So, people - I think that negative scaling with the high voltage is only in FireStrike. I think that the benchmark having a problem of some sort. Did someone watch negative scaling somewhere else ?

Hello gents. I recently purchased a Nano and was wondering what's the best method to OC it. I currently underclock it -24 mv in Afterburner, it stays pegged at 1000/500 with temp ~75 C. Do you think it would be able to OC? Do you think it worth repasting? I have some Kryonaut Grizzly thermal paste I could use.

Well, I think you could find yourself. Start increasing the core to a point where it will start dropping. Put the Power limit to +50%. The memory will start to show red/blue dots if it unstable and need more voltage. If you can use steady 1000/500 its a good start, but test in games like The Witcher 3 if you want good stable test.

Hi guys i need a bios for a fury nitro which will have a more aggressive fan curve and not throttle the card clocks. Please.

You can set fan curve by yourself in MSI Afterburner of Sapphire TriXXX. Turn off Power Efficiency in GPU settings panel (Games>>Global Settings)

Fury Nitro shouldn't throttle with clocks, it has certain temperature limits set in BIOSes (75 C on default one and 80C on second one). The fans will spin at minimal speed until the card reaches temp limit and then they are starting to speed up to keep the temp. It shouldn't throttle clocks unless you set your custom fan curve that is too slow and can keep the card below temp target.

Just turn off your PC and switch BIOS to second one with a button on a card that is located on the left, next to ports. It has 80C temp limit, with fairly good case and reasonable ambient temps the card should never reach this temp even at minimal fan speed. Fan are spinning at 30% until they reach temp limit if I remember well, with 35% speed I got 71C on stock, so 30% may bump it up to 75-77 C and it should stay there.

so I sold my Fury that had two faulty CUs which prevented it from going to 3840. and I purchased one that was guaranteed to unlock. For no loss to me. (just shipping) Pretty Pictures (Click to show)

Heaven at 1440P ultimate 4x AA crossfire goes from 90 to 93FPS. Since I didn't loose anything I am happy.

finally, I've ordered my fury x... price has dropped a bunch since I tried to get one last year : ) anyway, I haven't the time to read through everything.... any good guidelines to overclocking these things yet... I'm not looking for monster overclocks, just a "what to expect" idea... last I read up on it people barely got to 1150 on core if they could even get that far...

...Also, I have a 4 k monitor (49" biggrin.gif ) but I understand that the hdmi output is only capable of 30hz... is there any dependable DP to HDMI converters that can do the full HDMI 2.0?
