Why not? I adore the main buttons. Apart from the shape G302/3 is the best package for me, and tinkering is part of the fun.

(And you have a tuned IME in your sig! Not like this is much different.)

The reason for mine is the sensor. But there are mice with as good or better sensors than the ones you're heavily modding.

I did mention the main buttons. Those are my reason, among other good features. I see them as unparalleled and they can't be transferred to another mouse practically, therefore this ghetto mod makes sense to me.

Edit: And this is rather simple operation if you happen to have the tools around. An hour or two at most.

I can't stand the right lip of the G400 or the mousewheel but if they put the 3366 in one I'd buy it and say thank-you-good-job. The sensor is just too good not to use that I'm back to the 502 even though gripping this thing hurts like **** and it weighs 20lbs. I'm all for ambi mice but the G100s is too small and the build quality, buttons, etc., is ****.

Never gonna happen. They made that clear with the release of the monstrosity that is G302/3.

I would want that more then anything in the mice department, I have been waiting on something like that ever since the G3 became obsolete.
