QNIX QX2710 Monitor Stopped Working - Blinking Blue Light

I have had my QNIX monitor for 6 months and all of a sudden while I was using it, it turned black and the LED started blinking blue. When the LED blinks the speakers on it make a little popping sound as the LED goes on and off. When I the press the power button, nothing happens. The only way to turn it completely off is to hold it down for a few seconds, but when I press it again to power the monitor back on, the LED continues to blink again and make the popping sound.

I tried a different cable and DVI port on my computer and the problem still occurs. If I don't have a DVI cable connected to it then the LED just blinks red without the noise.

I tried a different power brick because I have two other QNIX monitors that are working and the problem still occurred.

Is my monitor broke? Getting this thing RMAed will cost a fortune.

Have you tried the other working QNIX monitors on the same video card? Just to make sure the video card is working.

It was OCed to 110Hz. I have another one that has been OCed to 110Hz for two years and it's doing great.

Hmmm ... then what is the purpose of getting a single-input QX2710? There are hundreds of users in the QNIX thread that have been overclocking for 2+ years now wink.gif

If your OK w/60Hz I would have purchased something like THIS, or even one of the new models ... I think it's color/clarity is better than the Samsung!

Just saw this on ebay today, could be just what you need? ... But 1st disassemble and check your cable integrity/tightness, also try to visually inspect for faulty capacitors (bulging or blown), then check your PCB is identical to the one below wink.gif

Or if you want all the internals this is a good deal also, this seems to work fine, the guy just screwed up the panel by trying to remove the AG coating redface.gif
