Increase in input lag upon changing hardware even though i have more FPS? [Requesting Roach] - Page 2

Wow. All that to reduce "input lag". Amazing that I don't have any of it without even touching anything unrelated to overclocking. There's an ultimate cure for this stuff though.

CCC doesn't have control over flip queue anymore. 0 in RP is same as driver default, you can check with GPUview, you can use 1 but it has a severe performance drop due to implementation.

r0ach is overrated, he got some things right, mostly things you can find from other sources googling how to set up your pc for audio work or RTC.
I used to follow his posts, but then I realized how reluctant to any proper testing he is.
There is no such thing as a human lag detector, if he wanted to support his claims he should at least post an uncut video of him passing flood's inputlag AB test at <4ms.

holy **** these etl files are huge

this is what mine looks like in an empty server (mat_queue_mode 0 in csgo, max prerender 1 in nvidia)
http://i.imgur.com/foN6xv6.png

this is with multicore rendering (mat_queue_mode 2), which should have a frame more input lag

with max graphics, toggling from mqm0 to mqm2

with low graphics, toggling from mqm0 to mqm2
http://i.imgur.com/DaUbAEB.png

i'm not really sure how to interpret this but i'm not seeing any clear differences when changing max prerendered in nvidia settings

Perfect comparison.

@qsxcv As long as there are no instances where you get 2 present packets on top of each other (like the first screen on the post I linked from the driver section) there is no difference.
