That is good news. However, I have lost my enthusiasm for this game after the inexcusable delays. Will still buy it - but mainly to do 4K/5K review(s) of it and not so much for the actual game itself.

Lol how are they inexcusable? Were you ok with the unfinished state that a lot of games in 2014 were released in? No? Well this is a way of preventing that happening again. Better waiting than getting a buggy unfinished game. This is gonna be so much fun online.

oh please, they managed to finish 4 different versions

Pre-ordered it on Steam the day it was available. I liked it on PS3 but could feel it being held back, can't wait to play it in full glory on PC.

I would rather a delay then pulling my hair out with still broken games like CoD and BF.....it's not worth the frustration.

I can't stand how people are looking at the delays for the PC version as a negative. People would be outraged if Rockstar released a sub par product with bugs. To prevent this they delayed the game to make sure it was perfect yet people still complain. Overclock.net has become a spoiled, entitled group of people. GROW UP!

But I'm pretty sure that's wrong, they kept delaying everytime the console editions were about to get a update or mission type(IE:Heists) to be put on PC. I'm willing to wager there's hasn't been bugs in a while.

Theyare kiling the hype of their own game when they're trying to hype it with missions.
(I have pre-rdered it myself, I'm not salty or anything of the likes. Just confused at R*'s Actions)

Console versions take the priority obviously, have you seen sales figures for GTA on console lately? Plus the fact on PC there are many different configurations to take into account unlike the consoles and hopefully it will be a more complete game when it is released. I just don't understand why you would feel the need to jump the gun so readily. I mean if its released and its still buggy and the delays have been for nothing then by all means go crazy but come on what's the point in getting worked up before its even out? What if its absolutely amazing and they have really done a fantastic PC version? It just makes you look like a fool.

What are you basing any of this on? Hearsay or actual fact?

Do want!

Think I might get this little game.

I don't understand why some are so salty about this either. I'd rather wait and get a more complete game, than something unfinished due to being rushed out. I'm hoping their reason for the delay was to work out the kinks and optimize it, and not for some other unnecessary one.

I borrowed a copy from someone over a year ago to play on PS3, and it was fun. Though all the while, I was thinking how much better it would be if I was playing it on PC. I didn't finish it on PS3 before having to return it, but I'm glad that I didn't, as I knew the PC version would eventually be released.

I almost never pre-order a game, but I did this one. I have two reasons for that: 1) To get the bonus in-game money, and 2) To pre-load the game and have it ready to play. I was going to get it anyway, so I may as well get those benefits.

Hell, I haven't played my PS3 version at all since I got it a year ago so this will be almost new to me!

Assumptions, look at release schedules with delays and the corrilation.

People are saltly because people have brains and think and kinda know the only reason it has been delayed for what 2 years is so they can/could milk the old consoles then the new consoles it's all about money. Making lots of it.

You can take my money 30 bucks max take it rockstar and be happy you got that from me for this 2 year old game.

I first played couple of years ago on a ps3 at a friends for 20 mins or so ran well kinda like crap haven't played since so it will all be new to me.

If you look at the amount of peds and cars in some of the screenshots it's likely that performance is probably pretty decent, from a CPU stance at least.

I couldn't be more excited.

Yeah, they delayed it to milk their existing products, and how else would they make the money they make? It is a business, and thankfully they still produce quality products that are evidently worth milking. I believe that success and money enables them to create the product we'll have in our hands in under a few weeks. Think of the other editions as kickstarters, if you must. If the PC version is identical to the console version, maybe there'd be something worth complaining about when considering the delays. Otherwise a superior product is going to take more time.

If it really troubles anyone, they're free to get the PS4 version, and to spend a few hours trying to get into a heist if they wish, or we can wait a little longer for the PC version and hope those bugs are ironed out by then.

The 360 version is two years old, when this is released you can be sure it'll look and play a lot better than anything else out. Surely it couldn't have existed two years ago.

How else are they supposed to make money? You do know that it was the highest grossing game of ALL time.
GTA 4 didn't do so bad either...
Why milk it and kill the sales?

It's selling very well, again. Sales are not in trouble. I said make the money that they make, not make money period.

Why not make it the highest grossing game more than once? Besides, every billion dollars needs another billion dollar friend.

See but that billion dollar PC market pretty much is getting half-lifed over the past two years due to this mindset. I pre-ordered ages ago and I pretty much lost hype since then, if they released it back when they were supposed to, it would have been the highest grossing PC game of all time as well.

But guess what, they decided to take the money launcher, remove the money, fill it with nails, and proceeded to aim and shoot their own foot.

You might be right, but we'll just have to see how it actually sells on the PC, and see some actual data. I know most people seem to have lost hype, but that doesn't necessary mean there won't be an explosion of it upon release, and for the definitive version after all. If it truly runs well, while looking exceptional, I think it'll be very similar to the PS4 release in terms of popularity, if not slightly more so.

So far, they've only succeeded in topping the charts with a second console release two years after the initial console release while the PC version remains in the top three sellers on Steam(It's currently number 1 in the Canadian store), without accounting their own site's sales, and that's with everyone apparently losing hype.

http://www.stealthybox.com/gta-v-breaks-franchise-record-uk-sales-chart/ This article claims it's reached the top ten chart seven times.

34 million + copies sold.
