[Newswire] GTA V PC release of April 14th confirmed + Official trailer Next week - Page 5

I'd like a full run down of the improvements, what the PC version is capable of doing and I'd hope in this "trailer" they are releasing next week it show's a mix of story trailer / technical one.

... with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015. "Announcement" is not a confirmation, this date was moved to:

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52374/gtav-pc-new-release-date-first-screens-and-system-specs

Grand Theft Auto V for PC as well as a new release date of March 24, 2015. "Announcement" is not confirmation, this date was moved to:

Arriving on April 14th, GTAV for PC is fully optimized blah blah blah

Announcement is a confirmation this time? I do not believe it - too many false hopes have been given by R* for me to believe much of anything they say anymore.

I will believe it when I am playing it.

I still have not played GTA V yet. In any form - I watched one cruddy video on youtube from 360 for a couple of minutes a year ago and that's it. Any one else not played/seen any content from it yet? I feel like I'm the only one in the world.

Ive seen trailers but never watched any game play or played it. Largely because I'm too lazy to get a console.

Heck even if I was the most motivated person on the planet, I would still never stoop to buying a console. I grew up with computers from C64 to i7.

I've seen the Xbone version played for a few minutes, for the most part it looks GOOD, consistent framerate, however I did find some things to be flat in appearance and way too bright.

I'd like to see a PS4/PC comparison video, like what R* did with PS3 to PS4 upgrade, it would help me and I think some others to feel it was worth the wait. I've not actually played the game.

I think they posted the wrong system requirements.
CPU: Q6600 or Phenom 9850
GPU: 9800GT or HD4870

those were barely just enough to run GTA IV at 1080p medium setting

GTA V minimum system requirements should be:
CPU: i7 940 or FX8320
GPU: GTX680 or HD7950

I do agree that it should have been released right alongside the PS4 and XBOne, if not earlier. I also agree with not stating a release date until it's concrete. But after playing some of the PS3 version, I just didn't think about the game again until recently. I only pre-ordered a few days ago, since there is a more (seemingly) reliable release date. Almost never do I pre-order a game, so I'm taking a chance on this one. I do believe though that I will be satisfied with it.

I decided not to purchase a copy of the game until the PC version released, because the PS3 version didn't cut it for me. If I had a PS4, I wouldn't have bought that version either, because I knew it could be better. Many people paid the same amount for an inferior version, so I'm content with paying full price for the PC one.

GTA 4 was also a steaming pile of unoptimized garbage. If this game comes out and is actually done right then I can see the minimums running the game on lower settings for sure.

Till the day it is actually on sale i don't care anymore, too much delays kinda ruined the hype for me completely.

Oh man I can't wait, I've been playing the PS3 version since release, I've been fighting the urge to get a PS4 for Bloodborne, LBP3 and GTA 5, I may still get the PS4 version to play with friends but I'm really excited to make maps for GTA Online and mods for GTA 5 on PC!

Ive played it on PS4 and it looked similar to GTA III did on PC lol. I dont know how console players do it, the games just look so bad...

The hyperbole in this statement, is too damn high!
