You can take my money 30 bucks max take it rockstar and be happy you got that from me for this 2 year old game.

I first played couple of years ago on a ps3 at a friends for 20 mins or so ran well kinda like crap haven't played since so it will all be new to me.

If you are... buttkick.gif

Agreed, it's not worth more than $30 for a game that's been prioritized for two generations of consoles. Will wait till it hits a price point I'm comfortable paying for since it requires steam.

CPU: Q6600 or Phenom 9850

those were barely just enough to run GTA IV at 1080p medium setting

GTA V minimum system requirements should be:
CPU: i7 940 or FX8320
GPU: GTX680 or HD7950

GTA 4 ran butter smooth for me with a Q9300 and 4850 max details @1080P, of course I got it after all the optimization patches had been released for it.

Wat? GTA IV doesn't still work smooth for me with all the patches even on medium settings...

Will GTX 970 from Palit is enough?

There's really no way to tell right now how the 970 will perform at different resolutions and settings, but I think it will fare well.

I'm ready to give it a go at 1440p with G-Sync enabled, as I've been enjoying it immensely with BF4. You can't get that with the consoles.

I see, because my first choice is 970. I am just aiming not lower than 60fps, in high settings, and AA.

Of course console is no where near that 1440p w/ g-sync enable, running beyond 60fps.

What probably delayed this game from release was the optimization for NVidia cards as AMD was already optimized from the console platforms.
