Which monitor is the most similar to a 27'' imac? - Page 6

It's a gorgeous screen. I was lucky, my monitor has no dead/stuck pixels and no backlightbleeding. Text ist razorsharp, the colours are great. Even the blacklevels are excellent to my eyes, eventhough MenacingTuba warns of it because of the Plasma deposition coating. For me the pdc is exactly the right coating. The screen is glossy, which is what I wanted because of the rich, vivid, and deep colours. And yet it does not reflect too much. Even with the screen turned off there aren't too many reflections. Nowhere near the mirrors that are called Imac. I'm using it in a fairly bright environment with windows on both sides, so I was a bit worried if glossy was the way to go. Now I can say that it was, reflections are no issue at all here.
As you can see I am very happy with my purchase. I can also recommend accessorieswhole, from whom I ordered my monitor. They have very good pixel- and return-policies, are responsive and friendly, and shipping was almost miraculously fast. So far both thumbs up.
