Q-Code b2 error? No post upon brand new gtx980?

Thread Starter
I purchased two GTX980 Asus Strix cards a bit ago, finally installing them, and upon testing, BOTH cards hang at q-code b2. I am at BIOS 1305, and had stock bios until earlier today. I tried: updating bios, cmos reset, cmos battery removal, checked all memory sticks, checked 6/8pin cables AND tested the board again with my old card. Ny GTX690boots to bios with no hanging. Both of the GTX980 hang on code b2.
Any thoughts?

Info on build:
5960x, asus x99 deluxe, 16gb ddr4 corsair lpx 2666, corsair ax1000i, asus gtx980 strix (2), bios 1305.

Some radioshack dvi-d cable, monitor is an acer gd235hz. My GTX680 and GTX690 both work. I tried booting up the system with both the gtx680 and gtx980 in, with pci-e only plugged into the gtx680. In GPU-Z, it recognizes the 980 completely, but i did get a nessage saying my bios does not support or recognize the card? I attempted to flash the cards bios. It was successful, but still no luck. I will try changing my asus x99 deluxe bios in a moment as well.
