Questions About Goliathus Compared to QcK

I'm currently using SS QcK in every room but I need another mousepad and was thinking about getting a Goliathus extended and wondered what people that have used, or use, both think. I could buy one and return it if I disliked but I'd rather avoid doing that if possible.

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps out smile.gif.

QCK feels like mud compared to the Goliathus Control. Will definitely take some getting used to but I could never go back.

I actually just got a Goliathus Control yesterday, and I really like it. My XTracPads Ripper feels so sticky compared to it. Even my QcK doesn't feel as smooth. It's fast, but it's not so fast that I lose control of the mouse. The surface isn't as comfortable as the QcK or Ripper's IMO though, as it has a rougher texture to it, but it's perfectly usable. I will say that I strongly dislike the graphic on it and it sets my OCD off something fierce, but like the texture, it doesn't make the pad unusable for me.

I can't speak for the Speed Edition, but I've heard it actually offers more friction than the Control. Not sure if it's true or not.

Any comfort issues with longer sessions? I have pretty lengthy UT04 LAN sessions with decent frequency so comfort is important to me.

You know, those gaming sessions when you don't have a bucket but really have to do a number 2? Well.... yeah. For that.

I played CS:GO for over 7 hours last night, and it didn't cause any issues for me.

Maybe I should have said every room with a computer and specified that hours long gaming sessions involve getting up tongue.gif.

Sounds like it's worth checking out then, thanks again.

At Kurt: Too expensive for the size.

Goliathus control is awesome. I have an older black model. I would buy another one, but I don't like the look of the new green ones.

Goliathus speed is similar to qck, just a tiny bit faster.

So, get control version if you want a quicker mousepad than qck, or get speed if you want something similar
