Hey guys, help me find a new mouse!

So my brother used to have his trusty Zowie FK, since he doesn't particularly play anything anymore he passed it on to me, it was dusting on my shelf for quite some time. I used the G502, G400, Deathadder 3.5G/2013, WMO and IMO 1.1a and they did a good job so far.

For the heck of it I decided to play a few sessions with the FK in CSGO, thinking it'd turn out to be a disaster due to it not feeling as good or me not adjusting, but it just felt so good playing with my low sensitivity that I had to keep it because I just hit shots left and right for days... except it died just now inexplicably. rolleyes.gif

However I wanna see if there is anything better before I get something that might have an improved version, or preferably the same just with omrons and a bit higher (Ninox Aurora, FK1 spring to mind?), best would be if anyone could tell me who used to have the FK for some time. Some people might ask why I just don't go and get the FK1/FK2, but then another question is, how the 3310 feels compared to the 3090, since I never had a mouse with such sensor.

I don't really care for native CPI steps if there is one, can be 400, 800, w/e, I feel comfortable with anything. Grip is a claw grip, palm on the mouse, wrist doesn't touch the mousepad (QcK+). Also, out of curiosity, how is the button latency of the FK1 and FK2 compared to the old FK if they have improved it, not that I noticed anything yet?

i own a fk1 (3310) and the EC1 (3090) also a rival (3310) never owned the original fk.
Both sensors are extremely good but the low maximum tracking speed of the 3090
made it pretty much unusable for me. While flicking fast in CS the sensor constantly
malfunctioned so i ended up looking towards the ground and not kill my opponent.
The 3310 fixed that problem for me.
Sensor feel in general is pretty much identical the 3310 feels better to me for some reason
but cant really put my finger on it why.
The fk1s implementation of the 3310 again feels better to me than the rivals also the lower weight is an advantage.

As u might know the zowie doesn't use omroms but the harder to press switches they use feel better to me.
Metal571 put it quite nicely the fk1 has a more surefire feel to it than the easier to press omrom mice out there.
There wont be any accidental clicks with the fk1.
I haven't noticed any click latency. The travel distance of the switch is longer than the typical omroms also the higher activation force will take up some time but nothing noticeable at least for me.

But zowie has problems with quality my fk1s housing creaks for example but its not that bad.
The scroll wheel on zowie mice is also not that great in general.

So if u like your fk get the fk1 its more of the same but a little bit better as far as i can gather.
If u don't need side buttons the Rog Sica looks interesting and if u do maybe Logitech g303 or Avior 7000.
Intelli 3.0 is also a great mouse if u don't mind the not so great build quality and the need for overclocking which isn't possible on win8.
