Really 550W ?? When just my GPU power requirements is a 550W PSU .. Don't forget that I will OC my GPU and CPU .. Really 550W ??

Those requirements are based on a peak rated PSU not a continuous rated PSU, so you can knock 25% off that number they give you.
Second the requirement number they give is for the WHOLE system not the video card itself.

A 350-400 watts PSU could power your system with room to spare but we say 550 watts to give you some extra room

OK, to confirm, yes 550W is enough 650 is a bit more than what you need if you do not plan on adding another card. When it comes to power supplies Shilka is one of the best people on the site for advice. Look at his sig with all of the information links on power supplies. Check out his PSU index if you want to know exactly how much of a psu guru Shilka is. If you don't feel like taking Shilka's advice on power supplies then don't ask tongue.gif

Well you know .. After getting a hole lot different opinions about this ... You really don't know what to believe and what advice to follow. I was reading this article ( http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/msi-radeon-r9-280x-twinfrozr-gaming-oc-review,8.html ) and jonnyguru said if you planing to OC your CPU and GPU get more the an 550w psu
