Hey everyone,

So, just got my gaming PC and I love it! ONly thing is after reading up, I'm wondering whether I should switch out my 16Gb (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600 CAS 9 for 1866 CAS 9 memory (16GB, 2 x 8GB)? From what I'm reading there is a slight increase in min FPS but I'm not sure if it's worth it at this point...

Specs

CPU: i7-4790k
Cooler: Corsair H100i
GPU; EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0
Mobo: Gigabyte Z97x - Gaming 7
RAM: 16gb (2 x 8GB) Crucial Ballistix 1600 CAS 9
SSD: 512GB Micron M600
HDD: 2TB 7200rpm Sata 6
PSU: EVGA NEX750 bronze

I don't think it really matters at this point but just wondering if it would be worth the slight upgrade?

Thanks!

You can overclock your RAM too. My 1600 kit is at 2400.

Modern gaming it might be behind the curve but with you set up it won't be the limiting factor in anything.
