Not sure how it handles tv inputs etc but it does have hdmi 2 and display port on it. I watch my nfl football on my monitor and it looks good and play fallout 4 works great. Fast fps games are a no go IMO. But normal games like fallout 4 work well and look great.

One thing thou this monitor doesnt have the colors as an IPS or a tv screen looks slightly washed out.

As I wrote above that brightness can be controlled directly, it is not exact. First the bar with brightness must be opened by brightness down [9] key and after that, right / left arrows can be used to change it up / down.

EDIT: I forgot mark the OK button, but it is working as well smile.gif

What model LG TV is this remote for? I can try it with my harmony remote and 434K!

I chose an LG TV at random and can confirm some of the button did work. However only the down arrow was working for me and the menu button did not work.

I don't know the model of TV but look at the number on the remote. By that number you will find the remote smile.gif

I checked the number but had a ha time figuring out exactly what it was as the picture didn't zoom very well.

Anyway I tried another couple of random lg models and found one which has more of the buttons working. All that is missing now is the on button.

Looks like the going rate for one of these on ebay is $640 or so. Is that a decent price? Or do they ever go "on sale" . I'm interested in picking one up but I'm going to be bummed if I pull the trigger now and see it for $500 in a month.

Looks like at that size there is nothing that I can consider great since its always a compromise. For example the Sony 830 series being IPS have pathetic contrast and black levels.
So this Crossover is like my only hope but it seems the panel been what some call "b grade" may not be the best choice vs waiting to see what next year brings.
So owners, what do you guys feel about it right now and specially comment if you have compared to Samsung and others.
I wish the Sony 810 series had a 43" but the smallest is like 55".

Thanks!

PS Photo editing/viewing is first and gaming secondary.

This isn't a gaming quality monitor. The pixel response time is too slow so the monitor suffers from ghosting.

I verified that this effect was present on different GPUs/computers/operating systems/HDMI and displayport cables, so it's 100% a defect in the monitor.

The product was described on Ebay (Dreamseller) as having a 1-year warranty. 2 months after filing a warranty claim, I've only received the following recommendation:

모니터 뒷면 버튼을 사용하여 메뉴 팝업을 띄우고 선이 보이는 것으로 이동을 해보아 주세요

I've been given absolutely nothing else. No contacts, no plan, no ETA of future response. Dreamseller lied about how the girl that was working on the case was on vacation for 3 weeks or so, and then when she "came back", there still was no update.

I filed a claim with Paypal saying that the product was not as described as it has no warranty, and they ruled in favor of the seller. Ebay doesn't allow any complaints after this amount of time, and I can't revise my feedback. I emailed Crossover at their e-mail on their website and they never responded.

I fully understood the risks of buying from South Korea. I wanted a 40-inch 4K PWM monitor and this was the only one at the time. I don't recommend ever buying a Crossover monitor, and I also don't recommend buying from Dreamseller.

Does anyone have any recommendation on how to get the monitor repaired?

Open it up and see if there are any broke capacitors.

You could also try and find a scaler board for this model and try and switch it out. Try different inputs has probably been done so I won't say that smile.gif

My friend just bought one of these and it arrived DOA (basically). He set it up, skype called me to show it off and then literally a minute later the screen went black and nothing we did could fix it. Tried different cables, different ports, different systems, and the screen just flickers on and off on a purely black screen. Feel like absolute crap as I was the one who recommended him to buy it. It was sold by green-sum and was listed as the "final" one for sale (last available I guess) so I'm hoping he wasn't pawned off a dud. Going to have him message green-sum now. Hopefully their customer service is good.

So, I've had this monitor for a while now, love it..but it has one issue:
Many times it won't wake up when it's in sleep mode and I have to take out the power cord and plug it back in. It gives me a message that saids 'NoSignal'. Any fixes for this?

@throwaway9500: I don't have such problem.

I discovered feature on my monitor. I have version with one USB-A female. When I plug there a cable with USB micro-b on other end it can be used as charger for my smartphone. Even if the monitor sleeps (red light). It gives only 500mA I think, but it is ideal for night charging. Since it charge slowly, the battery is not heating up.
