You can try +75 again, if it crashes stick to +65. Memory can be overclocked to +500, but I don't believe these EVGA cards have any memory pads or VRM heatsinks, so if you overclock them to +500 it may harm the memory in the long term. You can surely try to go to +500, but I definitely recommend not to go above 250 on these EVGA cards. Asus for example has VRM heatsinks for the GTX 960 so there is no risk of the VRMs burning out.

According to evga it has a memory mosfet cooling plate to "provide 9C cooler memory and 11C cooler gpu mosfet". Is that similar?

^msi ab default settings

I have an inno3d Gtx 960 Herculez x2 OC 2GB. I'm overclocking using msi afterburner.

Current settings on MSI AB:

+100mV
107% Power Limit
+140 Mhz core
+375 Mhz mem
(set Auto when playing games)

3dMark FireStrike score of 7000+

Can't get past these.

Do I need to modify my bios for my gpu to get better OC? Thanks

My specs:
i5 6500
Gigabyte H110N itx
Inno3d Gtx 960 Herculez X2 OC 2GB
16GB Ram
Seasonic M12II Evo 520W

Thread Starter

Welcome @whatdehek , I have the same card and I can give you a few pointers.  First, with the stock BIOS, don't be afraid to push power limit to 110% and Memory to 2000Mhz.  To even be able fry one of these, you need to unlock the voltage and do a BIOS mod, sot it's not exactly something you can do accidently.  I'm back to my stock BIOS temporarily and I'm running at 1500/2000 and just posted a 7,111 on Firestrike.

People with the same card have reached over 1550 without even changing the voltage, so it's really up to the GPU Lottery.   Good luck and enjoy your 960 :thumb:

Anyone here has an Inno3d Gtx 960? So far, I can only get stable clocks of 1481/1903 core/mem Mhz boost off and voltage to 1.243V (modded bios). Only 6800-6900 in firestrike

Can anyone link their master bios for me? I accidentally flashed the slave bios onto the master bios. I have an EVGA FTW 2GB.
