GTX 780 Reference - Resistor Problem

Thread Starter
Hi guys, i had a problem here.
Yesterday i cleaned my GTX 780 Reference, and unfortunately i slipped screwdriver to 2 resistor. I could'nt find it anywhere, and i dont know its resistance value. I tried to boot the videocard but my cpu wont boot at all (D6 code). Can anyone help me to find its resistance value ?

Here is the pict. 2 Resistor in red square. I would greatly appreciate if someone could measure the resistance across these parts.

i tried boot last hour and i heard sound that it boot to windows but no display. Also i can't enter BIOS (no display).

I've been trying to contact Inno3D Support via email, and still no reply....

If it's a reference pcb then you could try contacting nvidia, just don't get your hopes up.

Measuring resistance/capacitance, when elements are soldered into the PCB is pointless, because they're all connected with other parts. Read about connecting in serial/parallel connection. So you have to find someone to unsolder the parts and then measure them., so you probably won't find anybody. Sometimes resistors nearby have the same value, but it's only a guess. Or find dead card smile.gif

if you have both:

a. Measurement from both sides of resistor on working GPU

b. Measurement of empty pads where resistor was

It is possible to calculate the level of resistance needed to get from B->A using a VR...

**as bart mentioned though.. you will not really be able to figure out the resistance of that SMD until you either land a VR and start tuning, or take one off a working PCB and measure its value.

**I dont have the GPU though.

Thanks for response. And yes i fixed it already after found resistor value.
