feel free to post more perf reviews you find I'll add them here too so people can check all the reviews easily.
Seems somewhat inconsistent, MSAA for some reason kills radeons, for some reason they do best at 1600p, worst at 1080p and somewhere in the middle at 4K.
well those R9 290 numbers are what the benchmark was showing for the short time I played last night, so those numbers with MSAA on seem accurate to me.
Played briefly on Pew Pew Reactor (in sig)
Unless you have first hand experience I would not judge performance based on one site. I've seen some wide ranges from different sources, so comparison is key. Having said that, this game is the next reason to upgrade for a lot of gamers here it seems. Amd release that 390X yet?!
Man, I have a suspicion that Nvidia is gimping the 780/Ti for a while now. When I bought my 780 Lightning last year in February, the 780 was beating the 290x. Now, in most benchmarks the 290x is beating it.
Luckily I can install an LN2 bios thanks to this website, but I still think the 780 should be doing better.
It runs and feels great on my R9 290 paired with a 5820k and 16gb ram, so yeah not really necessary to go card shopping, and you never know, we might get a DX12 patch (I can always dream). p.s. with MSAA 4x minimum benchmark FPS was 51. Max 69 and average around 62)
Hmmm.... These benchs are not similar at all to the better performance I'm seeing on my end... haven't had a chance to test my 290x / 4k rig with it yet but on my brother's 7970GE at 1080p the frames are easily 10fps higher across the board than both these sits at the same settings (minus the 8x msaa for obvious reasons)..
Also...here is gamegpu's benchmark run they used..
Game has a built in benchmark which will be far more consistent and yet they don't use it
Edit: they said they had problems with the ingame bench working so take this review with a grain of salt as always with this site when a 5960x is at the top of the charts for every game
