tongue.gif wonder is it a show off because this system is one of best in current market.

That is plausible.

...

People that have dual Titans usually know what they are doing and what to expect... and since he also have top of the line CPU, then it will be very very sad, if such machine cannot outperform XboxOne and PS4, on witch GTA V is running usably... even that PC version is, of course, running in higher resolution and have more details / longer FOV, etc...

I was thinking to get a 5930k than i felt so lazy to change the cpu because mibe is water cooled and changing cpu and mobo too much work, and also i dont have 4k tv yet, and also i heard the ddr4 is expensive and not muture yet, and also the skylake cpus are coming....
should I upgrade or wait for skylake?

Best thing I would do is try GTA V with what you have and if you think you need a CPU upgrade then wait for skylake to come out but if you think it runs good enough then leave it as it is till you feel you need an upgrade wink.gif You should easily be able to run GTA at 1080P with what you have and with great settings so save your money for something else IMO because there is no need to spend a few hundred $$$ for a few FPS

why run 2 titans at 1080 with a i7 970? I have a i7 970 and yes it's a great cpu (built it in 2009) but I wouldn't even consider spending that kind of money too put 2 titans at 1080 with my i7 970. the only sli I had in mine was 2 580's. now I run a gtx 970 single and I run GTA V just fine at 2560 X 1080 at 60 fps. (I always enable vsync).
you should sell 1 of the titans for some pocket money. smile.gif

His CPU is hardly top of the line (its a bit old) - I think that is what is in question here...

I think it would probably run fine tho - but who settles for just fine? biggrin.gif

can't say on 2 titans but my i7 970 runs GTA V maxed settings 2560 X 1080 at 54 to 60 fps with a single GTX 970 overclocked to 1605mhz.
but you are correct the i7 970 is old, I'm just waiting to see what comes out to make it worth my time and money to switch, as for what I use my system for there really is no need yet. smile.gif

I wonder, why it says that it use only 390MB of the 3.5G videoram memory? Is not GTA V supposed to be videoram hungry? rolleyes.gif
