Wow. Well hopefully I never have any issues with it. The specs showed it comes with a 2 year parts and labor warranty from XFX. There's also a 30 day return for replacement period directly from Newegg.
I could purchase an extended warranty which would cover it for 3 years, but it's 74 bucks. mellowsmiley.gif

EDIT: Hmm checking TigerDirect, they are showing $619.99 after the same XFX rebate that Newegg had, but they don't have a promo code like Newegg to drop it to an even $600. Where did you see I could have saved an additional $60-70 off the $600 I spent? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8968877&CatId=7387

PM'd.

Don't worry about the extended warranty; $74 is a horrible deal for an extra year. I guess it's 2 years for all of the 295X2's, regardless of brand; they don't trust that AIO cooler lol...... tongue.gif At least enjoy the card for a year, see how 390X does, and cross that bridge when it comes.

Haha I agree, horrible deal.
Well, good thing I'm ordering an EK block for the card right now....that AIO cooler won't be on long. thumb.gif

I've owned both Sapphire (2x R9 290X VAPOR X 8GB Crossfire) and XFX (HD7970 1ghz Double Dissipation Black Edition) and have performed flawlessly from day one.

A fan did die on the XFX as their support team was on point and offered to RMA my defective cooler with no questions asked, however I opted to have them send me the cooler instead so I can replace it myself with no problems.  They were happy to oblige.

All three units are on water-blocks now without a hitch. :)

I've never had any issues with XFX support or cards for that matter. I've owned more than 40 gpu's over the last 10 yrs . Id say 15 or so were XFX brand. Only had to rma 2 and that was a faulty 4870x2 and a 5970. Although I do have to admit they seem to make cards of cheaper grade materials.(mainly shrouds)

I'd better shut up though.Don't wanna jinx myself . biggrin.gif

I Just bought ax XFX core 295X2 to mod off ebay for $560.00 for a spare build and I haven't got it installed yet.

I had an xfx 7800Gtx back in the day. It lasted 1 year and a day of its 1 year warranty, I phoned their so called “customer service" and the their answer was basically “unlucky, would you like to buy a new card at full price?"

Just took out two Sapphire 7950OC cards, they were great.

There is good and bad on either side tbh.

Ive owned 3 Sapphire GPUs and soon to be 4 XFX ones.

One of my Sapphire cards died whilst another had to be RMA'd due to artifacting at stock speeds.

Customer support was a pain to deal with and they took a long time (6 weeks).

My XFX cards on the other hand have all been great so far and when ive contacted customer support about changing TIM and such their reply was usually fast and they were acccepting of the idea.

Neither one is better than the other imo.

They both have horror stories and fairytales....imo you made the right desicion but saving a bit of cash

If you wanted to see how XFX's customer support has been lately check out the DD Club (link in my sig)

Enjoy your 295x2...i know i am biggrin.gif
