That is definitely not normal, though I'm unsure if it is the monitor causing it or the game. Do you have another monitor or TV you could try it out on to see if it still happens?

PCMonitors review is up

https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/acer-z35/

A very fair and accurate review, came to a lot of the same conclusions as I did, though I found that 200hz doesn't have any problems in a number of games (at least that I notice) they are right about BF4, but to me the responsive feel of 200hz was worth the trade off.

I looked at their trailing video (and others that Z35 owners have posted) and man it's so minor that it doesn't bother me at all. I barely see it. This is coming from someone who is bothered by the amount of motion blur on his Acer XB270HU when it's running at 60 Hz or below.

ok - just before you do anything with it - try these:

with all settings to DEFAULT!

try these (I assume you have got an nvidia card installed (otherwise why to buy a g-sync monitor?)):

1. get familiar and friendly with NVIDIaPanel (NVP) - right mouse button (RMB) on your desktop)
2. open 3D settings management (sth like that - I'm looking at the Polish version of the systen - sorry:) )
3. pick your appliacation - just browse to find THE gane or click ADD to look elsewhwere.. - anyway - add it
4. with the game (appliaction) added - manipulate (OVERRIDE) JUST these 3 settings (I assume you graphic card can do 60fps in the game):

a) refresh rate (MAX possible) - yest - we want that!
b) v-sync (ADAPTIVE REFRESH RATE down by half - or something similar - remember - I'm referring to polish drivers) - VERY IMPORTANT

and last but not least:

c) monitor tech - (ULMB) - VERY IMPORTANT

form me - it's ALL i want with this divce - brilliant, smooth, colorful experience - with no blur, tearing or such...

pls. let me know if it helped in any way...

The oily water isn't a 'problem'. It is intended - there is supposed to be oil leaking into the water where you are in the game. tongue.gif
