Got my monitor a few days on Tuesday. The build date was January 2015. It didn't have any flickering or dead pixels but it had horrible banding, about 4 dark shadowy lines going down the screen.

I RMA'd it straight away and got the replacement today. Same build date with no dead pixels or flickering and thankfully it also doesn't have any visible banding.

I'm very happy with it. It's picture quality is very similar to my previous 23" IPS monitor, a Dell U2311H but with a 32" screen thumb.gif

Does these monitors still have problems or new batches are fixed?

So anyone here come from a 27" 1440p screen? is the drop in pixel density THAT noticable?

I bought mine about a month ago from newegg and it's been a great monitor. No banding, no bleeding, no problems. $550 is a little high considering most of the machines I run (gnu/linux/bsd guy) are </= that price point.

It's nice to have nice things:

Finally got mine after the first one got lost by Amazon's 'shipping partner'. Beautiful monitor and 32" seems to be the perfect size. I tried a 4K 43" monitor before settling on the 32" and it was way too large. Doesn't appear to have any of the previously mentioned problems (dead/stuck pixels, banding, flickering).

We'll see how the coming days are with it and how it performs. Think I'll go buy a Spyder colorimeter. I can use it on my TV as well.

I love mine, colors are awesome, its big, and I got it runnin @ 73Hz without frame skipping, but coming from a 144hz display I think I want my 144hz & 1MS it`s hard getting used to a slower screen.

New BenQ BL3200PT owner here.

Have been wanting one for a long time since I do a lot of CAD, Photoshop and Web Design.

Viewing distance is great for me - it's not too big. I mean, it's enormous, but to me seems exactly the right size. I'm viewing it typically around 22"-28" away and I don't have to spend any time "hunting" around the screen. At times it is a bit overwhelming when there's a lot going on, but overall, I really like it.

No banding. No dead pixels.

Settings:

DVI input
User mode
Brightness: 50
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 9
Gamma: 1
R: 100
G: 97
B: 96
Hue: 50
Saturation: 50
AMA: OFF
2560x1440@60
Smart Reminder: Off
ECO Sensor: Off

Was watching it for a long time on Amazon/Newegg. Was at $499 forever when I had no funds. Then when I've finally got $$$...jumps to $549. So I decided to wait and even started looking at other monitors. Couldn't find one I liked. Then for one day only, Newegg.com dropped it to $429. BAM - got it. Super lucky. 2.99 shipping too.

Great news.

I'm still diggin' mine. For kicks/giggles I went back to factory sRGB mode and have been liking it for nearly everything.
