Only other thing I have an issue with is their extravagant shipping quotes.

Just ordered 2 boxes of Monsoon Hardline Economy fittings. That's it. I know for a fact that they can fit two boxes side by side into a USPS Priority Shipping VHS mailer for less than $7 before tax. Not even Florida's tax level would cost me $6 more. But the quote was $12.79 and add the .30cents for the insurance that already comes with Priority Mail and that drove the cost up above what it would've cost me to walk in and buy three boxes of them at the counter, if I lived in FLorida. rolleyes.gif

But to be fair to PPCs, FrozenPCs shipping costs to Washington state were just as horrendous. So I paid it and expect those goodies this week by Thursday. thinking.gif

To the PPC has it, there is actually alot of modding supplies I have needed lately that not only PPCs doesnt have but neither does anyone else. Like anodized red rivets, I had to get painted steel rivets and they were well a nightmare. I couldn't find any aluminium rivets in red painted or anodized....

My gripe with there website is its very very slow to the point were sometimes it flat out will not work at all. However I recently learned a trick, there site hates chrome, I read someone say that IE didnt have that issue. Now I dont have IE, I have edge though, I tried with edge and it was alot faster. Still pretty slow but much faster than chrome, and its not my net as I have 75GB download business net lol.

Hmmm, I don't seem to have a problem with PPCs' on Chrome. It's slow at times but I think as others have said their server isn't fast enough to run their picture dominated layout. If they were running something with more teeth it would be easier to shop their site. thinking.gif

For me firefox was the slowest with PPCs. You can def tell at times there server is getting hit harder than others, they carry a good amount of stuff I hope to see them carry more quantity on maybe fittings in the future. They are great people just a small business and I hope in the US we get more businesses like this carrying water cooled parts.

I haven't had a single problem with PPCS website on, android chrome browser, edge, or IE (yes you still have the option to use IE instead of Edge on Windows 10, just search it in the little search glass thingy and a link to the already installed IE will be there).
Site has never been slow, and I think their layout was a lot easier than fcpu to navigate, that's the only reason I had never ordered from fcpu.

Shipping prices are damn terrible though, I asked them if they could flat rate box stuff to me and they said they couldn't, not sure why. 13 bucks is way better than 47 bucks shipping to Hawaii.

Ah yea you get tagged by the "non-lower 48" tag as well. PPCS does USPS though which cuts cost down a lot.

Sad though, I liked FrozenCPU because they had stuff that PPCS has never had; was my go to site for years, but the orders kept getting messed up and it got worse and worse... After they messed up on one of my orders three times (which meant I had to send stuff back at cost to me multiple times) that was the end of it for me (was back in 2013). I could not function like that, back then I was kind of fitting in my modding where I could and when I felt like it, so if I ordered something I usually /needed/ it before I could move on with my build and/or ran out of time/desire to work on it. Though they did teach me to plan more into the future on my modding hahaha

Dude hahaha, I have been teaching myself the hard way of planning everytime! It's always multiple orders for me. That'd save me on some shipping for sure!

It's Miss wink.gif

I am constantly having to order things even /with/ planning... My postman is awesome and brings all my boxes to the porch for me or I'd spend all my time at the post office lol

My postman is good with deliveries also. I make sure he gets a nice tip for the holidays.

This is not news to me. I live in Rochester NY and they have messed up what I have picked up from them. The cool part is that they were willing to stay open late for me to come pick up the right parts. They did have a lot of specialty cables that nobody else had. Even ModMyMods does not have all of the interesting cables FCPU used to have...like 3pin fan to USB. *Sigh*

^This is still new to me. I am 25 and have never tipped my post man...maybe because we have drive up mailboxes?

Sorry you went through that with FCPU, although I can't say my experience has been the same. I think I also had my order messed up one or two times, but a few emails later and I got an overnight return shipping label to send the stuff back. My only small complaint is they could've overnighted me the correct parts as a small courtesy, but beyond that I didn't have to eat any costs.

mmmm if you're in the US there's some Federal regulation that says postal workers are not allowed to take monetary tips of any value. In fact, we can't even give them non-monetary items that equal more than $20 per quarter. frown.gif I give him cookies and hot chocolate, but he can't/won't accept more than that. My trash guys are the same way, pretty sure that is just a company policy, but they won't take a tip "on the sly" and I feel weird leaving cookies on the trash can lol I try to run out hot chocolate for them, but they don't work on a real schedule so it's hard to catch em hahaha
