Project Simple, Quiet and Sexy

Hey all,

So after years of running large sli setups I’ve decided to make a change. I want something small, sexy, dead quiet and easy to do quick upgrades. After allot of thinking I decided on a game plan.

I am aiming for a very simple, but gorgeous setup. I'm actually making a bit of a step down as my current system was running 970's in SLI. I think the caselabs s5 is the perfect case for what I'm going for. Easily removable panels for quick updates, legendary build quality and of course super sexy looks.

Case: Caselabs s5 Waiting
CPU: 4790k @ 4.8 Have
GPU: 980 SC Have
MB: Gigabyte Gaming 5 MATX z97 Have
RAM: 16gbVengeance 2400 Have
PSU: EVGA 1050 GS Waiting
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 with 2x NF-F12's Have
Case Cooling: 2x140 Noctua 1x120 Noctua Have
WD Red 6 TB Have
WD Red 3 TB Have
2x 500 GB Samsung Evo Waiting on 1

Already got some of the bits, but still waiting on many of the smaller pieces to complete this build. The longest wait time looks to be the case. Ordered it last week, and the current wait time seems to be 4-5 weeks. mad.gif

I know what your thinking. "Oh my God! A red and black build how unique!"

I think it sounds pretty sweet. I'll only let the Red and Black slide if you post pics when it's done biggrin.gif

Got this sexy guy in on Monday, along with the other ssd and some misc parts.

Changed the s5 to a xl window on the left, and a standard on the right. I ended up with 5$ credit. As a good American, I tried to bribe KC to get my case out sooner. Unfortunately it didn't work. mad.gif

Haha, I appreciate the light hearted attempt, but unfortunately bribery will not result in your order being expedited. With that being said, If your order can be completed prior to the scheduled shipping date, we will have your order shipped at the earliest date possible.

Done!

The case was more than I expected. Amazing quality and a pleasure to build in.

More pictures coming when I get some time to do it properly!
