Thanks for the comparision champ:) I'm tossing up to replace my Swift with the X34. There is no stock avail at the moment in Australia so that gives some time to ponder.

Curious to see if you've tried the swift in portrait surround. Would be interesting to see what the color shift situation is like compared to older TN panels.

Having both the Swift and the Acer XB70HU, I would have to agree... mine were astonishingly comparable right out of the box. I thought the same thing as *all* TN panels I've had in the past have fallen dramatically behind my IPS screens and so when I saw near identical color reproduction and surprisingly similar contrast/black levels between the Swift TN and the Acer IPS ... I really couldn't process it.

Thanks for the nice write up...

Vega, not taking into account gsync or freesync, would you still recommend the Swift over the BenQ XL2730Z? Things like build quality, OSD quality, additional physical features wise?

Thank you for the comparison.

Great comparison between the monitors. The Acer looks... well, ace. My dream of seeing a curved ultrawide IPS monitor with G-sync has finally come true.

Really appreciate you taking the time to detail your experience and opinions in such an organized and well laid out format CallsignVega. When I see a new display panel that peaks my interest I try and check OCN to see if you've posted an opinion on it haha.

Do you have any concern over the longevity of the blue LED's or does this panel use the white ones with a color filter over top?
