In your ec2-a review you mentioned that ec2a fits you also really well and better than the ec1-a. What keeps you from using it?

Also, I saw you had 1 image comparing za11 with ec2-a and 1 with ec1-a. Do you or does anyone have sample shots comparing za11 and ec2-a only together? I mean so that the width is clearly visible.

I prefer ambi over ergo shapes. And isn't a photo like you ask for in the OP? I'm not at home till next week so only on mobile and also can't take other photos.

Okay thanks for your quick reply. So do I.

I was thinking if you could shoot a photo like this, but with EC2-A and ZA11.

It's okay if you don't want to or feel like taking one. It's not the end of the world smile.gif

Interesting you say that; just out of curiousity, what makes you think that?

Great review.

May I ask , does the widder butt and higher top naturaly forces your palm to be placed in such a way that the bottom of the palm doesnt touch the mousepad?
I'd say it does. The Mouse feels more comfortable if you are resting from the top on the hump. You Still feel the hand on the mousepad a bit maybe, the overall weight of your hand lies on the mouse though. At least for me on the ZA11.

Choosing the right mouse for your hand size will be key in this. What is your hand size? Measured from top of middle finger to bottom line of palm. Overall I'd say yes the hump does make a difference compared to lower height mice.

I'd concur as long as you got the right mouse. My ZA13 had a more palm on pad compared to ZA12 which just fit better being slightly larger. Even by just a bit made a difference.

I can tell without trying the jump in size between ZA12 and ZA11 would be too big of a difference for me.

ZA11 size feel comparable to the Castor or Naos? Those fit me nicely, but EC1 a is ok but feels awkward with the outta place hump

Well my hands are around ~17cm (16.8cm) and I obviously think that the ZA12-ZA13 should be in my spectrum of choice.Just looking by the sizes I'll try to guess that a ZA12 would give me a "loose" grip due to bigger size or maybe a "tighter" one compared to the ZA13 because my hand might be more rised=more resting of the top=better-tighter grip. Mayybe biggrin.gif

To give more info I play with a palm grip but I tend to keep it more relaxed and not tight , I dislike completely If my pinkey and ring fingers on the side are "mashed" together , so again , maybe a ZA12 would also solve the tight finger pose, also I hold my trigger fingers not touching slighty slanted up , just like Ino but with less angle and steep'ness. To add to it the way my lower part of the palm (part touching the mouse butt) I dont have full contact with it but insted my lower palm touches the butt from the left and right side of the palm. These are my PALM contact points on the mouse.

Well, ergo mice kind of force a certain grip while ambi offer more variety. Also I'm quite used to ambi now.

Thanks!
For me even with the ZA11 my lower palm still touches the pad, but that's how I like it. I'm quite used to just lifting the lower palm 1mm or so for a swipe but put it down for control.

Those are my contact points too, and with your hand size I'd say ZA12.
