Hi, i have set my Wasabi mango 43" to 72Hz. It work only thrue DP cable

wolans, your 72hz is worthless as you definitely skipping frames - do yourself and your GPU/CPU a favor and set it back down to 60Hz. http://testufo.com/#test=frameskipping you will need a slow shutter speed camera (no flash at night setting) to photograph and see all the frames you keep skipping for yourself. https://i.imgur.com/1CCzScv.jpg this photo shows no skips at 60Hz 4K resolution over DP 1.2 - a skip would be one or more black boxes between the series of white ones.

Problem I'm facing:

I noticed that every time I change between tabs (ex. YouTube and Reddit) there seems to be an automatic dimming depending on the brightness/darkness of the page as such that when I open the YouTube tab in chrome, it darkens (the entire display including the taskbar not only the page) but when I go back to opening the reddit page tab, it returns to the original brightness. Now I've tried the following fix suggested when googling for automatic brightness problems but to no avail.. the problem is still persisting... and it automatically dims the page.. or when I'm at desktop and opening a window tab unless I maximize the window to fullscreen, the window will still be dimmed together with the desktop. I've searched the forum thread on dimming issues but none at related to automatic dimming, I really need you guys to help me on this! It is really annoying.

Tried doing the following:

1. Windows Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options -> Edit Plan Settings -> Preferred plans :High Performance selected

2. DCR on monitor set to off as per default (Monitor : UHD420 WM)

3. NVIDIA Control Panel -> Adjust desktop colour settings -> Use NVIDIA settings -> Content type (Auto-select)

4. NVIDIA Control Panel -> Adjust desktop colour settings -> Use NVIDIA settings -> Content type (Desktop-programs)

5. NVIDIA Control Panel -> Adjust video colour settings -> With the NVIDIA settings -> Advanced -> Dynamic range: Full (0-255)

6. Windows Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options -> Edit Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Display -> Enable adaptive brightness -> Setting : OFF

7. Computer -> Manage -> Disabled NVIDIA Stream and 3D Stereo

8. Rebooted between step 3-5 in case rebooting helps

My specifications:

Operating System:

Windows 10

Graphics:

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 Ti
UHD420 2.0 Wasabi-Mango

Except one inch and input differences, picture quality of 430 is better than 420. 430 is more black and details. Bezel is firmed in 430 while 420 is losen. I would recommend 430
