[Build Log] POW MIA Parvum - Page 5

So I am deciding between the clear plexi or black acetal for my water blocks. I wanted to go with clear because I like seeing the coolant running through them. I am thinking that the black acetal will go better with the build though. What do you guys think?

EDIT: I went with clear plexi for the CPU and GPU blocks, and the black backplate for the GPU. I am going with Mayhem's X1 oil black coolant with white fittings. I want the white to be an accent and not overpower the black in the build. I am also going to do the drain out the bottom of the case instead of with a ball valve. I got a pass through fitting and some G1/4 caps. I got the black DDC heatsink from EK with the clear plexi top, but went with the limited edition white POM water tank-z from bitspower for the res.

Got all the parts ordered, including the water cooling gear, and it will start getting here Monday. Imersa told me that the case should ship Monday and hopefully be here by the end of next week. I will update with pictures once I start getting things in. I also updated the main post to include all the gear going inside with links. Can't wait to get this build started.

If I went with white coolant I would of gone black acetal blocks. With the oil black I think the clear plexi will look awesome. I can also get some darkside single leds to light up the blocks instead of using strips.

Can't wait to get this thing started. I'm more excited for this build than I was for my X99 build.

I'm excited to see how the black will look in the clear plexy blocks, but don't you think the black coolant will stain the blocks like red coolant does, and worst case cluck them up ?

Have you giving lighting a thought yet ?

Mayhem's coolants shouldn't stain too much. If it does cause a little staining I can just polish it out of the plexi. The tubing won't get reused if I take it out. For lighting I'm probably going to get some single Darkside LEDs and put them in the blocks instead of doing strips this time.

I happened to be browsing MNPC tech when I saw this vinyl film that would be perfect for accents inside the case.
