ok thanks. LEPA is reliable fan? I see that the price also varies, the LEPA

aerocool: 20 $

vs

LEPA: 15 $

Snake oil.

I had 4 Aerocool Sharks in my case and they worked ok but were a bit noisy. So I replaced them with 4 Aerocool DS and while they were quieter they also did not move any air. Temps went up! So I replaced them with 4 cheap Arctic Cooling F12s. Both noise and temps went down and I am pretty happy.

the Arctic F12 fans are very impressive .. especially for half the price of comparable performing fans.

One of the best 140mm fans available are the Thermalright TY-14x series fans (74cfm & 1.6mmH2O @ 1282rpm), but they only come in 152x140 size with 120mm fan mount placement. The TY-143 is 133cfm & 4.19mmH2O @ 2145rpm (data is independent testing, not published specs). I have often cut them to have 140x140mm size and made 105mm to 124.5mm spaced mounting hole adapter plates. Details in "Ways to Better Cooling" thread linked below.

Yeah, some day I'm going to replace the F12s with GTs. Don't know of anything better.

Err, my TY-143s would do 2600 rpm but it depended on the motherboard. The MSI board limited them to just over 2000 rpm unless I set up a custom fan profile in software, while the ASUS would just go for it and go over 2600 rpm.
