Snow Camo Mode - NZXT Phantom ATX Full Tower

Hi everyone!

Since I build this PC 4 years ago, I didn't gave any s**** about to maximize the build itself as long as I could play any game I wanted.
(including CPU/GPU temp, FPS, airflow/cooling system and appearance)

By the time I start to write this thread, I've already upgraded the processor, motherboard and memory.
So, I made up my mind to begin the modding process before it's too late.

*Because this case is a bit outdated, not almost accessories are compatible. Unless I mod it as far as I could.

The final specs are as follow:
CPU : Intel i7-4790
CPU COOLER : NZXT Kraken x31
MOTHERBOARD : Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK S
MEMORY : Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
STORAGE : Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB
GPU : GALAX GeForce GTX 970 4GB Hall of Fame
PSU :
CASE : NZXT Phantom (White) ATX Full Tower
CASE FAN : BitFenix Spectre Pro LED 120mm x 1, 140mm x 1
FAN CONTROLLER : NZXT SENTRY 3
LED : Bitfenix Alchemy LED Strip
CABLES EXTENSION : Bitfenix Alchemy 24-pin ATX Extension, 8-pin PCI-E Extension x 2, SATA 3 Extension

PERIPHERALS : Razer Leviathan 5.1 Surround Soundbar, Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2012 Edition

Before mod :

Here is the final product:

I'm gonna need this too

first, remove the old led strip,

because asus sabertooth board too big, and I couldn't mount this led strip i/o panel on phantom.

Start from 24-pin extension. Act, I prefer white colour but it was out of stock frown.gif

look's nice

Supposedly, I remove the gpu first to dismantle sata cable from the board. Wrong step doh.gif Now, I should consider to design PSU shroud.

So, remove the HDD bracket. Is anyone using 7 HDD/SSD on phantom? hahah no need right

So, begin with taking measurement. Should lil bit bigger than psu dimension. but why? blinksmiley.gif

I'm using acrylic 2mm. Is it thick enough?thinking.gif

Using fast glue to attach between each acrylic.

No problem, I think

Wait to be painted. gunner2.gif

And proceed with modding the psu shroud prototype.

Aaand painting done!

Next, I mounted the holder which I found in hardware shop. It is easier to install and remove the shroud for future maintenance.

Put some magic strap, so can easily fix the pci-e 8 pin cable connecting to gpu
